Carson Drug is awesome. They ALWAYS have my prescription ready. Always had lots of problems with other big town pharmacies, but never here. Tourists also need to quit bashing on them, especially when they are trying to solve YOUR emergency. Also, we are a small town, so items may cost a bit more. If you want items at a rock bottom price, burn a few gallons of gas and 3 hours driving to Rapid City and back...Nice people, excellent customer service.

Really nice pharmacy staff and great community store with a good variety of things for this area … like that last minute poison ivy rash ointment, haha! They even sell CBD oil. Good customer service.

**OUT OF TOWNERS BEWARE!!!" I had my doctor submit a prescription to Carson Drug on Wednesday because I was low on my medicine and since we were here in Custer, Sourh Dakota for a week I thought it would be fine having it sent here. I was told that it would be ready on Friday.   Stopped in on Friday and they said did not order it, even though my prescription was confirmed received on Wednesday. Then they ordered it for Monday. Showed up on Monday and found out the meds were given to another person. I was not contacted at all both tumes that they didn't fill it. It would be well worth the drive to Rapid City if you want your prescriptions ordered and filled in a timely fashion. Avoid this store!

Carson Drug is a wonderful community pharmacy with great staff. The pharmacy staff is more than willing to go out of their way to take care of anything! There is a great variety of gift and decor items in the store. I am happy to see good community pharmacies like Carson Drug continue to serve the local area as opposed to being taken over by the corporate chains who only think about themselves! I choose to support this great business as they have always been fair with their prices and exceptional with their customers service!

Great service, filled my prescription as fast as they could.  I read another review that gave only 1 star and said they were rude.  I'm sure the customer was rude or frustrated coming in. Once again, if you treat people with kindness and respect, regardless of how others act, life is better and most people will return at least a decent attitude.  Thanks Custer Pharmacy!

Stay away!!  Warning!  I was just charged over 600% more than my home town pharmacy!   Staff was rude when I called about the transfer of my prescription and staff had zero knowledge regarding the bill.  Was told they add a dispensing fee but couldn't answer what that fee was only that it's programmed in computer.  Will be filing BBB complaint.

Go to a chain pharmacy in Rapid- skip this place. I prefer to support my mom and pop places, especially private pharmacies- better prices and service. This is the exception.  After 5 months of getting my Rx refilled here, my med was not in stock- it happens. The blonde in the pharmacy was so rude, wouldn't help me locate anothere pharmacy initially- could care less that I was going to just stop a medication till they got it in stock. The following Monday I returned and was scolded by the same lady- for arriving before their shipment. I was never given a time to be there. The rest of the store is amazingly friendly. Just don't go there for medication info or a RX refill.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They work quickly and are always ready to help with any question you may have. Great place to fill your prescriptions or get just the right gift.

In town for vacation and forgot some medicine. Phoned our home pharmacy to ensure script was available. Called Carson at 830 AM when they open to get a vacation refill - they have to call our pharmacy back home. THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT FILL UNTIL 3 PM!! Unacceptable, ruined entire vacation day. When areived at 2 still had not called.  Waited another 45 minutes
