I have been a customer of Carter's Pharmacy for several years! In that time, the only problems that have popped up were all related to the insurance company! Just dealing with the large pharmacy chains, I never felt comfortable enough to give a pharmacy a healthy dose of my trust. Then in 2012, my mom was diagnosed with 2 forms of brain cancer. During her treatment period I dealt with so many errors, several which could have been detrimental had I not caught them! I had no trust in pharmacies. Having to spend hours going through dozens of medications, counting and recounting. Checking logo imprints, dose size and making sure nothing had negative interactions with existing medications... it is not a situation that fosters trust! I can honestly say that trust has been reestablished with Carter's. To the extent I happily drive 60-90 minutes, one way, to get to their store from my home! They have earned the 5 star rating!

Great pharmacy but when you display hours on the door that say open till 6:00p on Monday- Friday, your customers expect you to be there until 6:00 period. Just left there at 5:59pm doors locked, lights off nobody in sight anywhere, unacceptable. And this is the 3rd time that has happened, can you believe that - sad.

I use this pharmacy for medications prescribed by my doctor in the same building. They are friendly fast and efficient. They also hold on to my subsequent prescriptions (something most big-box Rx wont do). They also gave me a manufacturer's coupon on my medication to save me money. It is a small shop, but they are great at what they do. The male attendant has always been helpful, and never rude when I have visited, and do not believe the other comment to be accurate.

This may be a backwards way of complimenting Carter's, but I know many will understand. Recently I had to juggle schedules around because I live about 60 miles away from Carter's. However, when I changed doctors about a year ago, I was lucky enough to happen upon them and have never regretted it. When I was in my moment of juggling, I'd run to pick up a prescription with one of my daughters (I had to take her straight to work afterwards). After getting my prescription I get pulled over because an officer saw me put my seatbelt on. In the process and conversation, the officer seemed suspicious of why on earth I'd come all the way up to Carter's just to get my prescription. Maybe he simply doesn't understand, but that's just how good the men and women at Carter's are. For the most part, I get the same medications every time, but regardless, I've never received even the slightest hint of judgement about any of my medications. One prescription in particular is rather expensive, therefore my insurance company causes drama on a REGULAR basis. They work with me (and the ins comp) to the best of their ability, never giving any sort of negative reaction because of those issues. They're simply great people who do a great job. And if I have to get pulled over every month while doing this, then so be it. I'll keep on making my monthly trip because these guys make it worth it!
