Omg I love buckwheat pancakes. I visit at least twice a season and I drive over an hour one way to get here. Awesome food. Great staff. Quick food delivery. Nice gift shop. They get you in and out quickly. Sometimes the line to get in is long but it's worth the wait. You can meet new friends while waiting

The pancakes are amazing. Buckwheat pancakes that almost melt in your mouth. All you can eat, one price.

Maple syrup that Cartwrights produces is excellent. You can buy it at the restaurant as well as other maple products like maple candy, pies, maple tea. There is always a line to wait for the all you can eat buckwheat pancakes and maple syrup but it is so worth it. Restaurant is seasonal mid February til mid April. Check website before going. They are closed on mondays!!

Always a great place to eat. This restaurant is only open 2 months out of the year (February-April) after sap is harvested and they make their own awesome maple syrup on site. This is a breakfast joint. So if you go, be prepared for breakfast, brunch, or brinner. So worth it. Their buckwheat pancakes are the perfect vessel for their maple syrup. Trust me. And you can get bottles to take home on your way out the door, among other gifts and maple flavored goodies. Be forewarned though, this is a CASH ONLY establishment. They do have an ATM at the entrance, but when it gets busy (especially on the weekends) there may be a small chance it could run out. So I would advise you to get cash in advance and be prepared.

The food was ok, if you like boiled sausage patties with no flavor, the service was sub par. No attention was paid to food safety at all... When the plates were put on the trays, and on the serving counter they were stacked on top of each other so the food was touching the bottom of the plates. Watching the server retrieve our plates of food, a chunk of scrambled egg fell off the plate and rolled into the serving counter. The waitress promptly grabbed the chunk with a bare hand and tossed it back on the plate without a second thought. Wouldn't go back!
