The restaurant name was dedicated to the most famous Neapolitan singer 'Enrico Caruso'. The inspiring concept was to create on any given day, a place with great Italian food and a funky, relaxed atmosphere with energy and romance.
On March 8th, 2004, Chiaro & Chiaro opened Caruso's doors to the public, and, still in it's infancy continues to stay true to the dream that two owners, Father (guy) & son (Joe) had standing in Naples Italy, to open a traditional Wood fire Oven Trattoria, where you can choose from our homemade pastas, thin crust pizzas, grilled meats and fish, or delicious desserts. As much as Caruso's is small and intimate, with a rustic feel, Caruso is classically designed to have a warm, evocative feel in a casual setting. With Italian brown tile floors, a gleaming vintage San Marco coffee machine, solid antique mahogany country tables, a wall of beautifully stained cigar boxes and lots of old black & white pictures and pop art paintings.
We offer a gluten free wood fire pizza crust that can be used for any pizza, and our salads are also gluten free. Many of our dinner and pasta dishes can be made gluten free. Please note that Caruso's is not a gluten free environment.
