I've been paying off a car I have a loan with Carvant for, for almost 18 months now. Besides the way they calculate your payoff and interest rates, I haven't had any other major issues with them. I'm a sole proprietor and on a variable income, which means sometimes my payments are early, and sometimes up to 2 weeks late depending on work volume. Whatever the case may be, they are always willing to work with me. That said, I've had several circumstances like other posters where personnel like Danny or Rick are extremely rude and thoughtless when they contact me about payments, or when I contact them. Rick once told me when I was 2 days behind that the only reason they wouldn't repossess my vehicle after only being 2 days late and paying for over a year, was because he didn't want to fill out the paperwork. That kind of attitude doesn't give you any sort of comfort in dealing with a company that holds the loan on your vehicle. But overall, the negative experiences have been heavily outweighed by positive ones, reps like Linda and Brittney are fantastic, and work with you as much as they can. I've been really appreciative of their willingness to work with me, and let's face it, as long as people are willing to work with you when you're late, you can deal with a little rudeness. If you have poor credit, and are seeking a solution on a vehicle, Carvant is a good place to help you make inroads into better vehicles and better credit.

At first things were smooth sailing, and though we've had to exchange words; that have now lead to a BBB compliant for unprecedented rudeness: we usually are able to come to a compromise but unfortunately, the increase of arrogance and ignorance have indefinitely sealed the deal. I do not blame this company for the situation at hand, but at the same token it is imperative to maintain your customer rapporteur. Because of a continuous put fail, I decided to allow them to repossess my vehicle and every since have not been able to gather my belongs. Highly rude and aggressive with my Mother, whom is quite experienced in both ends of this spectrum being a consultant for matters such as these and having an extensive experience along with awards for outstanding Customer service. But that's besides the point, but because of the stand off a case will be opened and if the behavior continues it will result in a lawsuit. But in case John or Benny Lopez read this, y'all should read FL Statue 713.8 and all sub sections. It's against the law period and telling a customer " Well that's just how it's done " let's me know y'all are up to no good. I appreciate the business but frick and frack have carried me my entire life. I wanted the car not needed. I chose to deal with the despicable behavior but nonetheless. I refuse absolutely refuse to deal with any company that does not respect the customer and at evasive and/or incompetent. Period. Happy business. I will not be referring anyone to y'all regardless of our outcome. Thank you

I Purchased a vehicle from a dealer, that was financed through Carvant. The car died 2 months after purchase. The repairs are half the amount of the purchase, I've been in contact with carvant to see if they can get me into another vehicle (and keep the loan) since its so new. I've recevied nothing but the run around. #Shady

Never .... ever..... ever ..... again!!!! I paid my bill on time and this account did nothing for my credit. I paid for the gap insurance my car was totaled and they didn't pay the claim. The employees are rude and provide conflicting information every time you call. I'll catch uber before I get another loan from them.

I have spent 2 days dealing with the rudest nastiest ppl ive ever dealt with in my life. They have double charged my acct for a car payment they have told lie after lie after lie as to how it happened they claim they arent seeing it on their end yet its on my bank statement. They claim they have not recieved my statement through 12 emails i have sent to them. They are liars con artists and crooks. I have to obtain an attorney at this time to receive the $373.62 they have stolen from us. Do yourself a favor go with any other company on earth and stay away from these ppl.
