The service here is always good and the prices are reasonable when you dine in I wouldn’t pay for carry out personally. Yummy and usually hot chips and salsa, food is very flavorful and good portions. Sometimes their items are too salty though and that’s been the only reoccurring complaint I’d have over the few years we’ve been coming here. I recommend their fajitas and enchiladas.
Came in on a weeknight after the dinner rush to be seated immediately. The service was very quick and we had my meal out to me in a few minutes. The chips were great. The salsa was very tomato and mild. The beef fajitas were amazing and easily enough for two people to share.Food: 4/5
This is it. This is the family restaurant you are looking for. My family has frequented this place for YEARS and without fail, the food is good quality, we receive it quick despite being a big family, and the waiters are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is calm and quiet while still being a great place to come to even if you have little ones. There isn’t a bunch of ruckus or noise so it’s great for conversational dinners. You get free chips and salsa at the beginning of your meal as well. Usually I don’t like Mexican American, or not at other places, but Casa Grande is right EVERY TIME. Their rice isn’t dry, or lettuce is crispy not brown. Definitely recommend you try, it’s one of my favorite affordable and tasty eat-in places here in Henrico. Kid-friendliness: Seen lots of families here, as well as mine having little kids and no one will judge you or give you side eyes. Very family friendly atmosphere, have high chairs and will accommodate what foods your little one can eat, they even have a kids menu.
This place is amazing!! I used to come here all the time when I was little, like 15 years ago. It's better than I remember!! The waitress was great and the other staff were as well. The food was so great we all left very full and satisfied. The fish tacos were really really good!! It took them around 5 minutes to stay our party of 8.
My sister and I grew up on Casa Grande dinners with the folks. We usually went to the Pump Road location before it moved. This one was delicious as well though! We got takeout- just one item. The Nachos Supreme. Absolutely loaded and full of flavor! Their queso and refried beans were fantastic. We'll definitely be back. We've been here once before for their margaritas...but those were more on the bland side. Highly recommend the nachos!
We came here for the first time last week for my hubbys birthday and came back again this weekend because this place is THAT GOOD! The food is authentic and comes out HOT! Everybody working here is very friendly and attentive. We will most certainly be back!Food: 5/5
Delicious food and good service My wife and I showed up hungry and our appetites weren’t disappointed. The chips and salsa were tasty, and a refill was delivered without us even having to ask for it. The carnitas were very good and my wife enjoyed her enchiladas. Drink refills came several times quite promptly. Our waiter brought a high chair for our son when we didn’t even ask for one we thought he’d stay in his car seat, instead he really enjoyed the high chair. We didn’t feel rushed, but instead were able to talk and enjoy the meal. I think we’ll definitely be back at some point as my wife loves Mexican food.
Food is meh. Decor is fun and the patio looks great! We had a combo beef taco, 2 enchiladas, rice and beans and a veg plate bean burrito, cheese enchilada, potato quesadilla Chips and salsa, and the potato quesadilla were great! The rest of the food was not great. The red sauce on the enchiladas and veg burrito was sweetened. Pretty gross. Service was also lackluster.
I'm going off the fact it was may 5th, so I will go back and give it a second chance. I went off an online review that said they were having a comedy show and karaoke. I get there a bit late, miss the show, no problem there. When I get to the front of the line, I say party of 2. I'm not asked if I want the bar. If I want to see the stage for the karaoke, I'm seated at a wet table next to the restroom, under an ac vent blowing cold air, with no silverware. After a while I get up to use the restroom it's 3 stalls I go to the far end with the changing table in it only to find the table is broke clearly has been for a while and instead of fixing or removing it they/guests have stuck tissue in it to try to hold it up. I walk out, get back to my Simi dry table, takes 10 mins to get a hello It's the 5th they get a pass. Once we finally order, we put in drinks with water and food all at once. As we wait another 30+ mins, we notice a group that came in behind us got food and drinks and is already eating. We happen to order damn near the same thing. So I was a bit confused. about 10 minutes or so later, my food is brought out 3 to 5 minutes later, my partners meal. Why not bring both? I don't know the same dish, just different meat. The food looked amazing. Sadly, my guest did not enjoy it and was already fed up that we asked for the bill about 5 minutes after receiving our food. I wouldn't recommend going on a holiday as I think they still need some training. Lunch break and small parties have at it. Also they mixed old and new chips with the salsa some were fresh others not so much.
Casa Grande is very consistent with their food tasting good. This location has been around probably since the 1980s and at one time was one of the only choices for Mexican food in the area. So we have a long history. Parking: The place is on a corner location. Traffic can be tricky getting in and out. Some times the lot can be very full. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs getting in and out. There's an outdoor covered patio. Not sure if that is wheelchair accessible.
