Overall, 4.5 rating. Good place for date night or get-together with friends/family. Pros: - Ambiance is really good - Vegetarian options available - Food preparation is very fast Cons: - Difficult to find parking - Gratuity already added to bill even for 2 person - Quantity is little less compared to other Mexican restaurants
We love Casa Romero! They make excellent margaritas and the salsa is the best in town. The enchiladas are our go to and are all delicious. You can even ask for half mole half verde on your enchiladas to try both types. The service here is always very attentive as well. Definitely stop by!Dine in: Yes
Read reviews about lack of service and I have to disagree. First off the address given will have you think your at the wrong location.... just turn the corner. You'll feel transported at least I did. The chips, salsa and guacamole are a perfect starter. The menu choices will make it hard for you to decide on your main course. Overall read the reviews but go and experience it for yourself!
Cute and cozy, entrance in the alleyway. Fun decor, very loud. Food was alright. We got chips/salsa/guacamole to start, and I was surprised that they charged for chips and salsa since I’m used to most places serving this complimentary guacamole isn’t usually free but this combo costed over $13!. And then the chips were cold, and I’m used to fresh hot chips but maybe I’m just spoiled. We also got the baked cheese which was tasty, literally just baked cheese in a stone bowl. For main course I got the enchilada, which was tasty but I found the inside chicken incredibly dry. Margaritas were tasty.
A shot of tequila that went down super smoothly. A medium beef with delicious rice, beans, and fried banana. Nothing to complain in here and the service was pretty good as well.
expensive and small portions $20-30 per dish but fine dining portions no complimentary salsa the place smells musty there are better options in boston!
Yummy food, dimly lit. I just wish their tortillas were a little bit softer but other than that , all of the things I ate were so tasty. Especially the guac, very well seasoned
It's usually fully booked so do reserve a table in advance. The food was very good. I had the filet mignon and it was very tender, cooked medium rare. I also had the chips and guac and they were nice as well. One huge downside for me is the price. Chips and salsa was $6 and the filet mignon was $36 but somehow the total was $58 without tips. I thought the price was tips included which would make sense but it's not. I should have asked for a receipt but I forgot.
The entrance is in an alley but this place is amazing! Really great flavors and definitely the atmosphere is top notch. The food is delicious, priced decently, staff friendly and courteous. The drinks are amazing too. 10/10 would recommend!
Great food and an amazing ambience! Must try their drinks and dessert!
