Excellent waitstaff. The food was good and hot. I ordered changes to my order. There were 6 of us, and most of us had special instructions to our food, & all of them were made correct.Food: 5/5
Casa Tequila provided a satisfying Mexican dining experience. The warm ambiance complemented the attentive service. The menu featured a diverse selection of dishes, and I was impressed by the bold flavors of their enchiladas. The margaritas were well-crafted, and the presentation added to the overall appeal. While the portions were generous, the prices remained reasonable. Casa Tequila is a solid choice for those seeking tasty Mexican cuisine in a cozy setting.
Still one of my favorite Mexican food restaurant in Tulsa! First and foremost, the margarita is awesome! And I I mentioned Gigantic ! The rice and bean are always done right! The dish itself … always, always done right! From enchiladas, to taco, to chimichanga… . The queso … ohhh the queso! Yummmmmmmmy!
Excellent service and Excellent Mexican cuisine. This is still, essentially the excellent El Tequila restaurant. I believe there has been a little change in ownership, some remodeling has been done and a new name on the door. If you had not been here before, it is an enormous restaurant and enormously popular, especially on the weekend. And there is a good reason for it. The food and service is some of the very best in Tulsa. It is sufficiently and professionally staffed to handle the crowds. My wife and I had a Sunday lunch here in November of 2016. The food and service was a five star then and it was even better today. Their staff is some of the best. We were lucky to get a very nice young lady by the name of Ana. She is super nice, friendly and has a smile that will brighten your day. Sometime the staff’s attitude can make or break your dining experience regardless of the quality of the food. Our food was excellent and the quality of the service a bonus. We were there a 2 PM and it was packed. There were several large family groups here today celebrating a member‘s birthday. There was only one open both left. We had chips, salsa and drinks promptly and the food was served sooner than I would have expected from a restaurant of this size. Our meals were the Enchiladas Verde three big chicken filled enchiladas covered with their tomatillo chili and the Enchiladas Poblanos three cheese enchiladas covered with shredded chicken and their mole sauce. The food was excellent, so I won’t drag out the descriptions any more than that. The plates were big and we left with lunch in a go box for tomorrow. If you are looking for other Mexican restaurants in the area, check out my reviews in my collection "Jalapeno Highway" on Yelp. I've probably been there.
A spectacular restaurant. Service was fast and friendly. The food was hella delicious!Food: 5/5
Chicken tortilla soup came out just barely warm with soggy tortilla strips and California blend frozen veggies thrown into chicken bullion broth. The shredded chicken in it was a few huge chunks, same with the “shredded” cheese. Had maybe a slice worth of avacado chunks. After eating avacado it was pushed as close to the end of the table as possible. Was going to order something else, but the servers stood around chatting loudly and watching without ever coming over or acknowledging us. Chimichanga plate looked good until you noticed the water filling the bottom of the plate. Looked like the liquid from sitting sour cream. That was decent enough to eat. Salsa was good. Server ignored me, so no drink or salsa refill. Won’t go back. Was so grossed out I almost forgot to take a picture.
Our food is always great here. This visit for lunch seemed to take longer. The wait staff are always nice and very helpful to your needs. Food tastes great! Definitely a restaurant to visit.Food: 5/5
We absolutely love this place!!! The vibe is amazing the drinks are awesome and people just have fun and go all out for birthdays! It's a family spot for sure. They are super fast with your food. And everything is to die for! Real authentic Mexican food. Thank yall and we will be back very soon. Kid-friendliness: This place is amazing with kids! They go all out for birthday partys
Been here twice! Once as a teen, & again as an adult. Had the chicken tostada's & husband had the birria tacos. SOOO GOOD!Food: 5/5
Although they seemed understaffed during a dinner rush, I was still led to a seat relatively quickly and our food came out at a very reasonable time. The staff were all very friendly and the restaurant itself is clean and spacious. I ordered salmon and it was delicious! It was a ton of food and I couldn't finish it all.
