My last time at this liquor store, I bought every week there for at least 6 years. My son used to come with me trying to find the most expensive wine ,liquor. Tonight he came with me. The cashier asked to see his ID even if he had nothing in his hand. He is 17, I said to the cashier he was my son and he was with me. The cashier insisted to see his ID. My son went out of the store thinking there is a minimum age to be inside. A second cashier came and explained to me they have the right to asked him his ID. I let my buy right there. Starting now instead to buy after my grocery, I'll buy after work at Vessel on Fort and Oak Bay. I am now a member give me discount on each buy. .

Best store ever..super helpful and extremely knowledgeable.i accidentally dropped $20 at the till, the staff searched the security footage and held the money until I came in again. Every person who comes in the door is greeted with a warm hello! Awesome. .😊

Should be - 5 stars. Run by rude hipsters that discriminate against people based on age gender and nationality. I have witnessed them treat woman of south Asain descent with some contempt Then a woman in front of me in line last week was buying a bottle of Vodka and the cashier refused to sell it her because the cashier suspected the lady of buying the alcohol for some teenagers in the parking lot. The lady said no I am buying for a family dinner and my brother likes this brand of Vodka. The cashier still refused to sell it her. I forgot to mention the Lady buying the Vodka was in her mid Twenties and of Aboriginal decent. After that I will never by from Cascadia Liquor ever again. I do not support this kind of behavior I do not support racism and sexism these stereo types and power trips need to stop I encourage and border line beg you not buy or support this establishment.
