Such a great environment with live music. Service was very good. I ordered fajitas. Portion was very large. Steak was nicely cooked. However the rice was a bit mushy and would have been nice to have more than two tortillas. Overall good and would come back.
This place is awesome! Food is always on point. Service is always amazing. The patio is the best place to sit. One of my favorite stops whenever I’m in town!Food: 5/5
I am sad to write this review after 30 years of loving the Cafe and having many wonderful celebrations there. People, food and service were always great. Was there the other night, and again, found the music so very, very loud that it was impossible to carry on a conversation. Not enjoyable at all over dinner. Even the 20 year olds in our group found it too loud. Prices have gone up so so much beyond what I feel the food is worth, as good as it usually may be. Disappointed to say, I don't think we will be back any time soon. Feel like we have lost what was our go to place with family and friends.
Love Friday nights at Las Casuelas. Great food, great music, and feels like everyone knows each other. Perhaps be ause so many of us know The Myx.Food: 5/5
If you are looking for truly good authentic Mexican food, avoid this place. All of the dishes look exactly alike. Food is beyond a disappointment. For $100+ Mexican meal go elsewhere!Food: 1/5
We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the restaurant, and the food. I have been looking for good enchiladas and I found them . Great service. We will make Casuelas Cafe one of our regular restaurants.Food: 5/5
We were in the area from the disappointment of the Community Easter egg hunt and were in the mood for Mexican. This was absolutely perfect, delicious, spot hitting, and for me, it tasted authentic. My daughter LOVED the rice. She ate all mine and her father's. I usually can't finish food, but I ate it all. The 27 oz. margarita grande was amazing. Parking: There were spaces available, but was limited to five available. Kid-friendliness: This is a great kid friendly restaurant, the outdoor seating has a great view. The live music was great for a beautiful day. Everyone was friendly and interactive to my daughter. Wheelchair accessibility: Someone would like the accessibility of the parking to the restaurant and maneuver around easily outdoors and indoors.
We love coming here because there’s plenty of room the food is great and there’s also some entertainment on the weekends. There is plenty of parking at the back and there’s never a problem with the size of your booking. The salsa and the chips are fantastic, and the servings are very generous.
I was blown away by just how bad the food was at this place, given how good the rating is on Google maps. When we walked in it was packed, with live music playing outside and a real party atmosphere - we were lucky to get seated immediately. We placed our order and enjoyed the live music, along with some bland tortilla chips and watery salsa - which should have been a red flag, but we were starving and the food took forever. When our meal finally arrived my whole group came to the same consensus - it had almost no flavor! It was like the kitchen used no seasoning on any of the meat used in all the dishes, not even salt and pepper. The one exception were my shrimp tacos - but not a good exception…they were drowning in butter such that the tortilla was falling to pieces. It was like the usual chef was out for the night and the local Italian dive lent this restaurant theirs - the least Mexican thing I’ve ever tasted. They might have been good in bowl of spaghetti, but not served aside refried beans. Sadly, it wasn’t just bad food, it was most likely unsanitary too. A few hours later and one of our party was throwing their meal back up, and I sit here doubled over with stomach cramps on Thanksgiving day. I would recommend avoiding this place at all costs!
Very fun place,I met the Bride &12 bridesmaids there, I'm 13th.. we had a blast with their wonderful band til it closed. The food is delicious & fresh. And everyone's soo nice.
