At CCP, we strive to create a low-stress environment coupled with the care and expertise of our cat-only veterinarians and staff in order to make the experience as comfortable as possible for you and your pet.

Starting with our hospital, everything is designed to fit the needs of our feline patients from the room layouts to the equipment.

Unlike traditional veterinarians who only spend a small portion of their time caring for cats, we spend all of our time with cats! All of our staff provide both years of experience and continuing education each year in order to give your cat the special care she deserves.

I moved from Florida, last March, with four kitties. Four cats aged 16 (oldest,) 9, 8 and 5. My oldest had kidney disease and I needed a vet who would love my kitties and help them be well for the life they have been given. I originally saw Dr. Ellingsen, who was great with my cat but didn't have the bedside manner with people I was needing. I saw Dr. Barkley the second time and my kitty Juno, told me "she is the one!" Juno is a sweet cat, but as any cat owner knows, just because they're sweet at home doesn't make them sweet towards everyone. And Juno is my sensitive cat, where she decides right away if she likes someone. She tried to crawl into Dr. Barkley's lab coat.  She was purring and snuggling up and I'm pretty sure she would have been pleased as punch to go home with Dr. Barkley. 

My old man Zeus didn't have enough time left with me, and saying goodbye to an animal friend, a family member, and in his case my soul mate kitty, was an incredibly difficult decision. When I knew I was time the staff on the phone was incredibly sensitive to me and we set an appointment. When I arrived, with a dear friend, I lost it as soon as we walked in. They immediately took us back to a room marked "Zeus " and Laura came in with us. We talked about him a moment, and I took him out of his carrier. The office had warmed the room for us, so he wouldn't be cold, and put a beautiful, blue, soft as my Zeus was, blanket for him to lie on down. Laura said something to me that provided so much comfort. She said once they go, you never have to carry the burden of not knowing when it will be. I felt that after I got home. I didn't realize how much of a burden it had placed on my heart by carrying that thought every day for over a year. 

As ridiculously and excruciatingly painful as this was for me, they supported me, were so kind and loving to both him and I. Dr. Barkley did the KINDEST thing that makes me cry even thinking about it, and when she gave him his final injection, held his paw and said "I don't want him to have a bruise." When he passed they let me stay with him for as long as I wanted. Then about 10 days later I received a card, with kind words and thoughts expressed by every member of the staff. All that I can say is I am so thankful I found this group of people who clearly all love cats and want to treat them with love and respect and dignity. Thank you all.  Juno, Cole and Charlie are lucky to have you as our vet going forward.

You'll never find better care for your cat anywhere else.  Dr. C and her vet tech were perfect.  The exam was far more thorough than I've ever experienced.  My cat is displaying some strange behavior and it's pretty tricky to figure out the root cause, and they don't make you feel like a crazy cat lady for providing them a huge amount of details, in fact she even asked if I had any video to show her.  I'd feel so annoying trying to get another general vet to watch my videos!  I'll never go anywhere else.  This place is exceptional!

Very kind and helpful staff who are very intelligent and really know how to handle and care for cats. Great facility - very clean and welcoming. Nice and quiet for the cats! They spend good time with you, really trying to understand and tailor treatment to your specific cat.  Really thankful for their care.

Excellent care from cat-only professionals. Staff treats cats and their owners with courtesy and professionalism. All the staff really like cats!

Excellent, friendly, responsive care for cats of all ages and breeds!  My current cat companion, Miss Maggie, has been a patient of Dr. McGeorge's for the past 12 years, as have several previous feline friends--all of whom were professionally and tenderly cared for.  Couldn't be happier with the practice, from scheduling to reception to assistants to doctors!
