The food was a little different than I've experienced in other regions of south Louisiana!  The service was great! can't beat the hospitality ! The jambalaya and chicken gumbo tasted the same . The atmosphere was a typical bar n grill feel! Had Upstairs and outside patio dining!Food: 3/5

I'm from out of town and recommended by the locals to travel for work. AMAZING place and atmosphere. I ordered the shrimp and grit cake, DELICIOUS! Don't order extra sauce, LOL; it was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. BROOKLYN was my server, and she did a PHENOMENAL. Good luck in school!!Dine in: Yes

Came for lunch after passing by sooo many times thinking ‘gonna have to try one day’. Someone recommended the roast beef poboy and they were right! Fresh bun, lots of good roast beef and we got gravy on side instead of on sandwich- to DIP IN . Had the sweet potato fries- waffle cut with cinnamon sugar geeeez. Super impressed and will be back to try other Cajun dishes on menu.

Got a chance to try some local cuisine and it was exceptionally good. Sat inside to have a drink and soak up the vibe. Didnt get to eat immediately but it was still hella good and and the portions were on point. I got the crawfish and shrimp w/ fries and jambalaya. Will definitely try again.

I had Jambalaya and Gumbo for my lunch. I enjoyed it and loved it. Not too salty nor spicy. It was good

Overrated establishment. Horrible service from the all three waitresses who basically ignored me and my two year old daughter the vast majority of our time there. The fried pickles were soggy and the main order was not worth the wait. Asked for a drink for us 4 times and nothing. It took another individual patron to identify the problem and address it. I didn’t immediately write this review after dinner but instead waited. I wanted to be as pragmatic as possible and try to find a reason for the waitresses behavior. The behavior kinda seemed intentional. The one star is barely deserving.

I was only in town for a day and had to try some local cajun food. Appetizers were great but I wasn't too thrilled with what I ordered. Everything tasted way too salty.  The atmosphere was great and if I had more time I would definitely come back and try something else.

Honestly I was very disappointed in this place. I’m not from here I’m from Lake Charles and saw this little restaurant here on the corner after the event. I decided to give it a try with a friend of mine I ordered the combo platter for 2199 and the fried mushrooms. The fried mushrooms were the only thing that I enjoyed. The jambalaya that comes with the seafood plate was terrible I wouldn’t even call that jambalaya not sure what it is the best way I can explain it is mush. There’s no seasoning, the food was very bland I had to add salt just for a little bit of salt in the food. When I think Cajun food I think Of a seasoned very well dish. None of that existed on anything I ordered. Not to mention I only got three fried shrimp and one stuffed fried shrimp with a tea tiny smaller than my palm stuffed crab. 22 tiny catfish fillets. And when I say small they were almost like nuggets. Just very disappointed probably won’t come back again. I’ll stick to my Cajun cuisine‘s in Lake Charles

The husband and I just went for our 12 year anniversary and everything was amazing! Service was very attentive and the food was so, so delicious! We had fried mushrooms, duck wontons, the Ragin' Cajun burger, the prime-rib melt, and beignets. I don't have one complaint. The sweet tea was sweet, the food came out quickly, the prices were fair, and the customer service was top-tier. We'll be back again!

The waitress we had was pleasant and nice.  Food was good. Drink could have been a little stronger.  Nice atmosphere. Overall.  I'll come again.
