The park was really great! What I loved most was the splash pad especially because it's really geared for the little ones. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because one of the drums at the kid park next to the splash pad was severely broken and my grandson who is two and a half actually cut his hand on it. So tualatin Valley Park and recreation needs to get that fixed ASAP before somebody really gets hurt Other than that it was amazing!
I love the splash pad here. My only complaints are the lack of shaded areas, the astro turf at the playground is hot as hell, and the field surrounding the splash pad is filled with clover and bees on a sunny day.
The coolest splash pad and play area for littles. We could play for hours. But there isnt any shade coverage by the water so bring something with you. Plenty of parking easy to see your car and get loaded and unloaded. Cute community garden. Up the road is a shaded gazebo area for lunch and parties.
Love to take my dog to this beautiful park. It has woody areas, large plain green meadows can play football, badminton, etc., picnic tables, public restrooms, nice parking lot. Lots seating available. Family gathering on weekends for a picnic or birthday celebration in the park.
The place is more than wonderful, it includes all the sports requirements, and it has all the playgrounds. I liked the beach ball court very much
Very nice clean park, super small though. Its more a place for the kids at the elementary school. There is a volleyball court there too.
This is such a fun park! During the summer, there is a fantastic splash pad that has a little ‘river and dam’ play area and all the water spouts. The park area has fake grass, which is nice in the sense that it doesn’t get muddy during our rainy season. My daughter loves the climbing dome and enjoys climbing up into the whimsical little house. On the weekends or when school isn’t in session you can also go to the school park which has a number of really fun climbing obstacles.
Top notch park. Please open the public restrooms back up. Edit: I initially gave this park 2 stars because the public restrooms were closed. I've upped it to 3 because it really is a nice playground. When the restrooms are open, this is a 4-5 star facility. Closing restrooms at a public park where parents bring lil' kids is just mean. Locking them from dusk to dawn is completely understandable. The last thing a frazzled parent needs is a toddler or young child having an accident in the park, or in the car seat, because the public restrooms were locked at 11am or 2:40pm. Additionally, public facilities typically see greater use by less affluent families, which I am led to believe equates to a higher percentage of minority families. Removing the restroom access makes this a non-viable option for these parents, thereby disproportionately screwing the minority kids.
Played pickleball here with friends. There is a space for up to 3 pickleball courts.
Awesome new facility. Also has mini tennis courts and covered basketball with lights
