Story

Power Tower is a thrill ride located at two Cedar Fair parks in the U.S.A, Cedar Point and Valleyfair. The attractions are powered by air in large cylinders in which an aircraft steel cable, connected to the internal piston, travels and is also connected to the external rider car. Hydraulic cylinders at the base of the tower provide an extra measure of safety in case of a ride malfunction. Both rides were designed and manufactured by S&S Worldwide of Logan, Utah.Cedar PointPower Tower at Cedar Point is a multi-tower attraction featuring a pair of Space Shot rides and a pair of Turbo Drop rides, arranged in a square-footprint with a crowning marquee and pyramid joining the four rides at their peaks. Power Tower is the only four-towered drop tower ride in the world, devoting two towers to each drop cycle. Love this place. It is a place my family and friends will be coming back too. They take good care of you. This is a place you would want to spend your money. There is so much to do here you might want to get a hotel room and stay the weekend. They have places you can bring your own food and eat. This is great for a BIG group. If you don't ha e a BIG group and it is just your small family. They have many restaurants for you also.

I absolutely love Cedar Point. My family spends 2 days at the park annually and stay at Hotel Breakers. We have a fabulous time and with the renovations done at the Hotel we enjoy staying over even more. My only complaint from our stay last year was in regards to the new Fun Pix. I purchased this and was so excited to get my ride photos, getting some family shots by the roaming photographers, get some pictures with the Peanuts characters and try out the new Fun Zone frames. The only thing I actually got were the ride photos. I didn't see a singe roaming photographer and no peanuts characters in my 2 days at the park and we were there from early morning entry till the park shut down. The Fun Zone frames only worked sometimes and sometimes not at all. I was so disappointed and when I went to Customer Service they told me they were sorry but they were short staffed. That was it. Sorry about your luck. I said you probably shouldn't advertise all that will be available and then not have the staff to actually accommodate what you promise, I got no response to this. I am planning to purchase it again this year and I am hopeful that with this being the 2nd year that they will have the staffing to cover everything this time. Just thought I would post this here with the hopes that someone high enough on the food chain can make sure that this doesn't happen again.

There's a reason they call this place the Roller Coaster Capital of the World; this place is amazing. My first time going was a Saturday afternoon, and I was expecting 3-hour lines like at my home park (Kings Island), but I instead walked on most rides and waited less than five minutes for almost all others. Even when this park is at its busiest, these people never slack off. I didn't see one ride operator being unnecessarily slow, and operations are a huge deal for me. I was amazed by the mostly friendly staff and the most delicious food! It's an amazing place for kids, too!

MY HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH Could go on for hours to tell of my love for Cedar Point. My first visit was at the end of the summer that I turned six years old. Too many since to count. Still so much I have not done there yet.. I look forward to more enjoyable experiences and you should too.

I don't know who on earth wouldn't rate this a 5! I come here every year, and each time is better than the last! Stay away from crowded weekends, and here is a secret tip of mine. Look up the day when students in Ohio return to school, and go that day depending on the weather of course. Best day of the year to go lines are not long at all, but at the same time not dead. Simply can NOT beat the roller coasters at this park! Hands down best in the WORLD!
