The owner was so nice had so, much fun with my family. FOod great had the vegan banana muffin. YES VEGAN FOOD AT THIS PLACE ALSO ALMOND MILK OR OAT MILK Vegetarian options: Has vegetarian food. Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free thing,Vegan on the menu.
The food was great and the smoothie was amazing , however I was just concerned because a older lady came to me twice asking me about another order saying ingredients were finished and if I could choose substitutes. Very confusing setup and I was hoping my order would be accurate after these two encounter. The Process after the order is taken need to be streamlined to not mess up other people’s order cause this could easily be the case for mine.
Very nice cafe in the middle of New Haven! They have all your typical options for coffee and breakfast. The muffins and coffee were pretty nice and so was the decor. Overall a decent cafe!
First time in New Haven and stopped by to get some hot drinks. Owners are really nice and the cinnamon almond chocolate chip flat biscotti is a must-try! Highly recommend:
Such a great cafe right in downtown New Haven. Lots of space but still feel likes cozy- would recommend!Food: 5/5
This place was great. They used real fruit for their juices and smoothies which was impressive in comparison to many other coffee shops. I also had a breakfast sandwich that was fresh and tasty. Nothing seemed pre made or microwave heated. Also impressive. The decor was hip and eco chic cool. I liked the giant bouncy ball chairs. Fun. Despite getting several things wrong and mixed up, due to the loud coffee shop noises combined with the plexiglass germ barrier thing it's well past time to take that bad boy down, or give customers microphones to order into , the staff were all really nice and welcoming.
This is a great place to work and a less crowded option then further downtown if you hit it at the right time of day. From yoga balls, to a long bar, plush comfy chairs, and plenty of tables and seating options available. Also of note: plugs for computers/phones. Appropriate for a client meeting, a casual date, or some quiet reading. The food options are healthy and tasty. The smoothies and juices are also of high quality and worth every penny. Hard working, thoughtful and cheerful people own and work at this place and you feel welcome when you walk in. Don't forget to leave a note on their community chalkboard before you leave!
We were in the area of this establishment and was recommended this place to get a quick bite. I ordered the Belgium waffle with fruits. It came with strawberries and banana. The fruits were nice and fresh. My friend ordered the grilled chicken avocado salad. The mango's on the salad were very fresh also I helped myself to one. The salad came out right away but there was quite a wait for the waffle. The cafe has a nice and cozy feel. Looks like a nice place to come and get some work done. Most people had their laptops out. They have high chair tables and they also have an exercise balls chair. They do heed warning to "sit at your own risk". The only thing that I didn't like was that I ordered an Iced Chai Latte. There was too much ice in mine. I couldn't taste the chai at all. It was too watery.
Great fresh squeezed juices, coffee's and teas. The cafe is very quaint and clean. The reason I couldn’t give it 5 starts is the gentleman behind the counter. He is very LOUD and obtrusive and interrupts customers when they are giving him their order. He also makes remarks like “you’ve got to be kidding me” when an order comes in online and he disagrees with it. I came in at 0815 on a Saturday morning with my book and it was crazy how loud and rude this fellow was. I finished my things and left. In the future I will order to go. The art in the cafe is beautiful and it could be a very comfortable place but my man behind the counter is a domineering force of negativity. They should keep him in the back.
Great little cozy cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Fresh food made to order. Specialty coffees, smoothies, and teas. The employees are friendly and courteous. Plenty of on street parking as well.
