This is an unusual location but follow the directions and you'll find your way there even though it may be a little scary on the way. Once you get there the receptionist will greet you so warmly and you'll see a view that is unrivaled anywhere well most anywhere. The rooms are cozy but very well appointed everything is fresh and clean and the best part is the bed. In fact for me it was the worst part because I didn't want to get out of it since it was so comfortable. I highly recommend that if you're in the area that you stay at this place if you can get a room.

Great view of the dam from the breakfast room. Room and bathroom were clean although a bit tight on space. Bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. Parking was great, spaces steps from your door easy for unloading. Breakfast could use a little more variety but overall a pleasant stay.

Celilo Inn provided my family and I a great stay. The price is perhaps about 10% too high, but I suppose being one of the only decent places in town they can charge something of a premium. They also serve Stumptown coffee which is a nice touch--I always appreciate places that consider the little details. My only critique would be that the rooms are quite small. However, on the whole Paula and the other staff made our time there relatively enjoyable.

Late at night this was one of the only options available after a very long day of driving. I am so glad it was. I had my doubts since it was only marked by neon motel sign and the road up the hillside to get to it seemed a bit sketchy. We arrived and were welcomed with a glass of local wine. The rooms were very nice and immaculately clean. This place is also pet friendly which was a huge plus.

For a motel in a small town, Celilo Inn is pretty good. Free wine at checkin, good wifi, very clean rooms and a nice breakfast are all nice features. The patio has excellent views of the river, Mt Hood and the sunset. Rooms are very quiet with the windows closed, but with them open the highway and nearby train noise is unbearable. You also have to drive through a tiny neighborhood of run down houses to access the motel which isn't great. However it's a pretty decent place alongside interstate 84 compared to most of the other options.
