I was really surprised by how laid back and hidden this place is. If you're looking to get some food, drinks, and just hang out with friends, this is the spot. Play some pool, throw some darts, and just enjoy yourself. I'm not sure how crowded it will be on a Saturday night, so be aware it could be cramped if a ton of people cram into this small area.

While I haven't been there recently, I have always enjoyed my experiences at the cellar. Best Bloody Marys in Carbondale, hands down. Located down a long flight of stairs, so wheelchair accessibility is an issue. Beyond that, it's a fantastic bar. The Bartenders have always been friendly, and quick, although much like any popular bar, when it's crowded it may take you a minute to get your drink. But it's not for lack of service. It's also the only bar in Carbondale to feature a shuffleboard table. If you want to have a casual drink, on a weekday night, or full-blown weekend bar experience, I would highly recommend the Cellar.

Good local bar.  I don't drink bloody Mary's buy I'm told they're about the best you can get.
