Central Bakery is the best! I strongly suggest this to anyone with a sweet tooth! If you are un sure what to get I would say everything, but my favorite are their oatmeal cookies!

I was extremely disappointed in a cake that I ordered for my wife on her birthday. When I picked up the cake, I was not impressed as it was very plain looking. I did not make any comments to the cashier as I chalked it up as my fault since I had not specified to how I wanted it decorated. When the cake was cut, it broke into crumbs, and it did not have the usual ingredients that a hummingbird cake normally has. It did not have any bananas, pineapple, or nuts, but it did have cherries which I was not expecting. So, I called the bakery back, and I told a lady there that I thought the cake was mixed up with another cake for a customer that wanted a cherry type cake. The lady said that it was definitely a hummingbird cake, and she said they did not put nuts in their hummingbird cakes. I told her that it also did not have bananas or pineapple either, and then she just told me that everyone loved their hummingbird cake. Instead of arguing with her, I asked her to have the owner call me the next day since she was not there at that time. She promised that the owner would call me the next day, but I never received a call. I was only looking for an apology on the cake. I do understand that mistakes can easily happen, but I did not expect the response that I received.

The ONLY place to get a Birthday Cake with icing you actually like the taste of. .. great gingerbread men and pineapple cake too :)

Central Bakery always has something for that sweet tooth at a reasonable price. The staff is always friendly and helpful

This little bakery sure is sweet! I'm in love with their oatmeal cream pies. Trying other things today. Great place for a sweet tooth fix!
