I have known many people to apply at the Van Wert, Ohio branch and a few whom also worked with Central Mutual Insurance. The hiring managers filter through resumes and refuse to hire Hispanic and minority employees. They have sent letters to people within the Ohio area that have Hispanic names advising that they do not have the qualifications for the position. However that is beyond true, these individuals provided years of experience and credentials but they will not hire anyone with a minority last name. Central Mutual should really check into this before it becomes a EEOC claim

We all purchase insurance hoping we never have to actually use it. Well, my apartment flooded recently and I had to make a claim with my renters insurance through Central Mutual.  They were absolutely OUTSTANDING!!!  My claims representative, Coby Jackson, was present the next day and basically held my hand through the entire process.  I am currently recommending Central Mutual to everyone I know because not all insurance companies are equal.  My experience with Central Mutual was wonderful.  Worthy of MORE than just five stars!

Do not go to this company Stephanie the manager and Janelle slaughter are complete bullshitters and liars they will Not help you at all and will continue to drag the process along! Hire a lawyer against them you'll need it ! They won't return phone calls or email ! I've hadn't my car appraised to be fixed and have sent them the quote and also have had my car appraised for demished value (camaro ss 2010) but yet there still dragging it on saying is your car drivable if so they'll call me when they call me ... gotta be a joke 😂 Fire them both hire some people who wanna work actually instead of avoiding calls handle your business please you don't get paid for nothing your customer care answer the phone for people .
