Stopped here on our drive north to Nebraska. Liked it so much we stopped again on our way back to tresses.  Historic place, lively bar on one end ,with a band on Saturday night. Separate dining area if you do not want to eat in the bar. Great chicken fried steak and the hamburger steak was amazing. Skip the cheesecake. Good drinks.

We got the chicken fried steak and it was really good. Nice and tender. I also got the ham and potato soup and they surprised me. I thought that it would be a cream based soup and it wasn't. It was more of a stew based. Still really good.

The bouncers and wait staff are always fun and agreeable. Coupled with the lights and music, it makes for a great atmosphere. Except for the manager... she could use a happy pill. I always smile and offer a kind greeting, but I've never had a positive response.

Albert is the best damn owner and host I've ever met. Makes you feel like a true friend and it's courteous and professional. Very beautiful location and the staff is very attentive

Awesome menu! Building was the railroad freight house in the old days, they have done a fantastic job of including R+R into the decor. You can dine in an original railroad dining car if you want! Great place!
