Century Air is owned and operated by a retired American Airlines captain with over 50 years of aviation experience and over 30,000 flight hours. In operation since 1975, Century employs a team of professional flight instructors who are highly trained, experienced, and dedicated to providing the best training available in general aviation. With a knowledgeable and friendly staff of aircraft dispatchers and office personnel, Century Air is a full service training center offering the consumer an exceptional flight training opportunity.
As an FAA Part 141 Approved flight training center we have given thousands of pilots the opportunity to learn in a structured academic environment and receive a quality aviation education. With two training centers (flight and simulator), we provide programs for private pilot through advanced professional career programs and pre-employment airline pilot training. In addition, Century is approved by most insurance companies to provide aircraft specific recurrent and initial training in a variety of aircraft including Cessna, Beechcraft, Piper and TBM. We are also a Cirrus Standardized Training Center providing initial and transitional flight training in the Cirrus aircraft as well as aircraft management and crew services for clients who own a personal aircraft and desire support for their transportation missions.
Century maintains a large fleet of training aircraft including Cessna, Cirrus and Piper aircraft. All of our aircraft are maintained to a superior standard, and our unparalleled maintenance program assures a clean, safe and reliable aircraft for our students.
Once you have made the decision to learn to fly, it is important that you become educated on the process, and you learn how your investment will be spent. For this reason, all students of Century Air must attend a consultation prior to enrolling in a flight training program. During the consultation, you will be formally introduced to our programs, aircraft and facility. You will also be educated about the process of learning to fly before making a commitment.
