I cannot believe what a nightmare it has been dealing with this company. it's been two months since a sewer line backed up I to the home we were renting. The place was completely flooded, and our stuff with it. Still no payout, and right now the Department of Insurance is trying to help us get a settlement from them. They won't return calls/ emails and ask for the same info over and over. They absolutely do NOT care about their customers and are completely unfazed that I requested an investigation of our case. It looks like we'll be getting a lawyer.

This is the worse insurance company on the planet! I made one simple claim after having them for five years. They would never return phone calls and it got so bad trying to reach Shelly and Paula "The one in charge" I had to go through the main number and most of the time they sent me to there emails. I waited two months and finally got a call from a private investigator who told me that he was hired by Century National to investigate my claim...WOW! I'm on week ten and just switched my insurance to Liberty Mutual I'll fix my house out of my own pocket. These people are ridiculous to deal with! They base there not wanting to play claims on Google Earth pictures, they will not send a legitimate adjuster out only some guy that happens to be in the business. THEY WILL NEVER PAY YOUR CLAIM!!!! DON'T SIGN WITH THEM YOU WILL BE SORRY YOU DID!

I could have told you all what a horrible insurance company this is.  I worked there in the 1980's and they were so unorganized, unprofessional and low end insurance company.  I believe these insurance companies are called Sub-standard Insurance Carriers.  Even then, it was bad and I was even embarrassed to say I worked for Century National Insurance.  The best thing I ever did is quit and now I love my current job that I have been with for almost 20 years.

Terrible company. They denied my one and only claim I had in 9 years. Also, when I found better insurance for nearly half what I was paying them, they started playing games. I had to send a written notice of cancellation to avoid a $4o fee. Then they sent me another bill for $40 claiming they also need proof I had a “replacement policy” to avoid another $40 fee.

Lousy company. I didn't have any claims, but when I moved to another state, I called & asked to terminate my policy on that date. My policy end date was more than a month in the future, so I asked that they send me the remaining amount that I paid for my policy. 3 weeks later, nothing. I then had to email again, and basically do their job for them. The person responding to the email, Gina Baker, stated that she thought I was calling to cancel my policy on the date it expires. Why would I need to do that, when if I don't pay, my policy would automatically expire? Incompetent and greedy...
