Well it took over the old Dominic‘s. It fills a void in the neighborhood for a grocery store. They do offer some of the same as the trendy markets in the area. Produce is excellent. Although the prepared foods are not that great. With the exception of the mounds of awesome desserts. Also they now have a Amazon dropbox area for your convenience.

I love this store! They have fantastic produce for a cheap price. I've had baked goods and spices from other Cermak stores and they were also awesome AND cheap. It's not too hard to find good spices and baked goods, but this good for this price is unusual. And I've never found produce as good in the Chicago area.

Great selection of produce, huge meat department, full deli, and plenty of ready-to-eat options. Definitely an emphasis on Mexican foods, but not to the exclusion of anything you'd expect to find at a full grocery store.

I am a regular shopper here.  Great variety of produce.  Great butcher/fishmonger shop--including Halal.  My only complaint is that meat once went bad within a few days of purchase, so it needs to be cooked soon.  They have a variety of international foods including Eastern European, Middle-Eastern, South Asian, East Asian, Mexican, and African.  A full variety of reasonably priced spices and teas.  They also have a deli counter, bake shop, and lunch counter but I have not tried them.

Fruit and produce section alone is five stars. 
Friendly and helpful service. 
Variety of international food offerings. 
There's even a hot bar. 
Large parking lot.
