I had my hair styled at Chakras for my wedding back in April and it was a nightmare. When I'd come in a week earlier for a consult, the stylist was really helpful and seemed like she fully understood what I wanted. But, on my actual wedding day, this was not the case. She did some really weird/bad looking things with my hair and I told her several times exactly what I wanted, showed her pictures, and traced my finger where I wanted the simple braid to fall. She seemed totally disinterested in what I was trying to tell her and kept doing the wrong thing over and over and over. It literally felt like a nightmare. And then, I was out of time. She quickly added some terrible looking curls(think middle school, the first time you ever tried to curl your hair bad). And I sat in the car on the way to the church on the verge of tears desperately trying to fix my hair. When I walked in, my mom saw me and asked if I liked the way my hair was (obviously she wasn't happy with it since she was the one who spent the $100 to get it done) and I just held back tears and said I liked it as my maid of honor rushed me to the bathroom to continue fixing it. By the time we got it looking presentable, I hardly had time to slap on some makeup and get a few pictures with my girls before going down the isle. Luckily, my MOH was able to make it look decent enough that I had enough pictures I actually do love to put a photo collage together for my wall. But the majority of them I don't like. All because this stylist decided not to care about her job or the fact that it was my one and only wedding day. I've tried not to be upset about it, but I just can't anymore. My husband reassured me that we'll go have one year anniversary pictures taken and I can have my hair look anyway I want and I love him for that. But a wedding day is a wedding day. And, scrolling through these other reviews and seeing bridesmaids and other people who had their hair done for weddings here and seeing how absolutely amazing their hair looked just makes my blood boil. You only get to be a bride once (God willing) and, thanks to Chakras, I will always have a bad taste in my mouth when I look back on this day.

The best treatment..service...and staff.  The most modernized salon I've ever seen.  Even massage chair while your hair is washed/conditioned.  Daniel did mine and i highly recommend him.

I got a walk in wax. The atmosphere is so welcoming & calming. Everyone is very friendly. I felt in control & not judged. I would definitely go again & recommend others to go here.

I come to Chakras for facials, massages and body treatments. I love the atmosphere the service is stellar and you feel like your in a whole new world! If you are looking to send your loved one or yourself to somewhere swanky this is the spot

Not sure what you want? Go. See. Amanda. I needed to make a last minute appointment today to pick up where my normal stylist left off, and the results are amazing. She was able to take all-over gingery blonde to an ashy blonde with chocolate-mousse colored low-lights so that my roots can grow out blended. I wasn't sure what my hair was going to do (it can be stubborn) but I trusted her vision and I'm grateful that I did. Side note: She takes great care to maintain the health of your hair, and you will probably leave the salon with the softest hair you've ever had. Also, she is honest, and she'll tell you straight up if something isn't going to look right, or is going to take longer than you think, etc, which I really appreciate. Highly recommend.
