The staff is amazing. Very cute and nice girls. They attend you quickly and give you a free bag of chips when you order. Prices are around 10 for a sandwich. I ordered one called the Manhattan and they gave it to me in around 8 minutes. They had told me that the grill was off. Which I don’t know why since it was 2:30 in the afternoon. And that they could warm it up in the microwave. And that it would taste good. Well that was a big Nono. I took a chance and ordered it still paying full price. The first few bites where good but once I got to the center it was cold and mushy. I ate it because it was my only lunch but I did not enjoy it at all after the first 3 bites. So I was not happy with my purchase.
Was excited for my #24 Italian hero - - BUT despite having oil & vinegar on it, the sandwich was DRY AF!!! With every bite I felt like I needed a swig of water just to be able to swallow. Not sure how fresh the hero bread was, although soft - it was incredibly dry. Staff was friendly enough, but for +$12.00 the quality has to be better will give them another try, maybe an off day
Absolute gem! The bagels in this deli are god tier. Staff are friendly and service is quick. Next time I'm in NYC I will definitely be back :
Champs Gourmet Deli is located at 30 Broad Street Exchange Place, New York, NY. They have delicious food, great prices and excellent customer service. Thank you Sharon and Maria for always receiving my orders kindly and delivering fast!
The selection is very large for such a small place. If you want to move around New York on budget, this deli is a good address. The staff were very nice. I don't understand why the store only has 86 ratings.
This place was a pleasant surprise. The best pastrami sandwich I've ever had.
Champs provided catering for a company event I attended and it was PHENOMENAL. They were extremely kind, the food was delicious, and the service was spectacular. We’ll definitely be using them again in the future!
I’m so glad this place stayed open during the pandemic! Champs has the best breakfast sandwiches and they are quick!! The employees are so nice and they even remember your name , which makes customers want to come back. It’s definitely a neighborhood staple and I would recommend this spot for a quick egg and cheese sandwich for breakfast or a burger and fries or Cesar salad wrap for lunch!! Delicious!
Fast service at 2pm. Sandwiches were large and filling. Friendly service, clean restaurant.
I had the Cuban and the better half had a Turkey bagel sandwich. Meat piled high and phenomenal flavors. Was everything I thought a NY Cuban sandwich would be. High expectations were met. Not a fan of the potato salad though.
