I had an accident at work in October 2017 which resulted in 2 broken vertebrae, a fractured rib and a herniated disc. He performed a spinal fusion the following day. He never informed me that I had also herniated a disc at that time. Fast forward to March 2018 at a follow up appointment he asked me how I was feeling and I told him I was still in pain despite the spinal fusion healing. He referred to an MRI that was performed the morning of my accident and told me I had a herniated L3 L4 disc and that was why I was still in significant pain and that it would require another spinal fusion surgery. Why this was not addressed while I was in the hospital is beyond me. Workers compensation denied his request to perform surgery, as they always do. My attorney told me to call his office and tell him I needed my off work status to be extended to get me through the appeals process. He told me, through his receptionist, that he wouldn't do that because workers comp denied my surgery. I am in no condition to return to work and I have had no physical rehabilitation at all. Basically, I'm now on my own. Needless to say, when and if I do have surgery, it will be by another surgeon.

Done procedure I've had done before unsuccessfully. Promised to treat pain. I recorded this conversation on my phone. When it came time for my pain meds he denied it even though I have it recorded. Left me here in hospital for two days crying.

In my experience (which admittedly ended several years ago), any time being a patient with this man is worthless. I thought he had retired years ago (again being completely honest), but if that is incorrect, I call it a mistake on two parts: Mine in that he hasn't, & everyone else's in that using the word implies he ever did any actual work... ...He makes appointments (I believe the address given here is the same one my mother drove me to years ago). Then, no matter what you tell him, he will order "a CT scan" (which was always done on the same day on a lower floor of the same building). After that, he will have you return to his office, where he will tell you (regardless of the truth) that "the CT showed nothing", & then send you back to the waiting room to schedule the next appointment, which will consist of the same exact events literally 9 times out of 10. In late May of either 1992 or 1993, he actually performed an operation on my shunt (which I had possessed for a decade at the time), which I can tell you overall worsened my health if it made any difference whatsoever.
