Really good service! A "Chipotle style" Indian restaurant that allows customizable meals. Food was priced about the same as Chipotle. Not the best Indian food I've had, but still very delicious!

The food was pretty tasty. I ordered the butter chicken, chickpeas, and naan.

Mixed reviews here... Sometimes the food is great but other times it's been over cooked hard rice. Slow service but occasionally worth it. Make sure to go during the Tuesday special

I have lived in University Circle for several years and during that time, tried all the nearby restaurants. I always end up at Chapati and for good reason. Their food is delicious addicting, even. Excellent customer service. Lots of foods and drinks to choose from and you can customize your food just how you like it. The service is always quick even when they have a big line. Food is always fresh and flavorful. It's about $8 for a huge bowl that most people cant finish and will have leftovers. You can't beat it. I love Chapati and the energy surrounding it. If you're in the area, try them! You wont regret it

The food is great and the price was very reasonable compared to other Indian places. A warning if you don't know what Masala soda is, it is a spicy and salty drink and not at all what I was expecting! so if you're not used to it, be cautious. Full marks for the food though, will definitely order again

It was slightly less than OK for a quick bite to eat but I will not be going back. I've had Indian food in many places and the flavors of this place are just not there. The chicken was flavorless as was the saag sauce. The spicy cilantro chutney was the only thing that redeemed this place and gave it the 2 stars. I would like a bottle of the spicy cilantro in my fridge, but other than that, no.

The food is good, it is flavorful and delicious but it wasn't that fresh when I got it. The girl at the counter was very helpful and polite. However, some people left because she was a little bit slow taking orders. The decoration is warm and neat. I would definitely come back earlier in the day, and hopefully the food will be fresher.

First time trying this place out, unfortunately I will never return. I don't know if it was a one off that I had a bad experience or not. There were 3 employees working and 2 of them seemed like they absolutely hate their job. It was cooler outside than inside, I feel bad for the people working there. They either don't have a working AC or it was off. I ordered a butter chicken bowl and a samosa. The samosa was pretty good. The employee who took my order didn't offer any sauce to go with it. I didn't even know they have sauces till my friend ordered one and the other nicer employee who took her order asked which sauce she'd like. The butter chicken bowl was not good, not a lot of flavor. The rice was hard and dried out, probably from sitting in the steam table for a long time. The portion was also small for the price.

As someone who would never be able to tell whether a place had authentic Indian food, I like Chapati. But I know a lot of people that cook authentic Indian meals at home are not a fan. Great if you are vegetarian or vegan and want something quick they have meat options too. I thought everything was delicious!

I went two weeks ago and I am craving the soup!  So delish! Awesome on a cold day! Also, the bowl was super fresh!  The chicken was just cooked on the flat top.  Loved the diced tomatoes and cucumbers.  Everyone was super friendly.  Can't wait to go back!
