I live here and frequent Chapman's often.
I've seen all that they have but there is so much, that every time I go, I see something new! 
If you like;
Precious stones.
Semi-precious stones.
Fossilized wood.
Fossilized plants.
Geodes full of brilliant amethyst over four feet long.
Chinese history.
Gold history.
Local history.
I could go on forever! 
If you like anything that has to do with the planet Earth, this is the place.
It's a hands on relaxed atmosphere and the folks there are awesome!

We love stopping by this shop when we have some time to spare. The quality of everything I've purchased has been better than expected. I'm highly sensitive to most metals and synthetics and have had no issues with the Sterling Silver rings or clasps on their cord necklace pieces. 
My 4 year old loves looking at the sculpture room, and especially the glowing rocks. Chapman's is a great place for an afternoon visit with the family.

Love this stop.  Have fossils, geodes, polished and unpolished stones.  Have tumbling supplies.  Museums are great.  Book selection too.  Staff is always friendly and helpful.

This is a really cool rock and mineral museum and shop. So many exhibits and specimens of minerals and fossils. Anyone living in the Eureka-area or visiting should stop by and check it out.

This was a FANTASTIC shop!!  I'm a little bit of a rock hound, but there's something for everyone here.  Jewelry, fossils, mineral samples, giant geodes, crystals, stone carvings, bowls, balls, and the list goes on for a while!  It's a great stop, one of the best rock Shoppes EVER!
