The handle/lock on my front door broke  I could still get into my home from a side entrance, but I wanted to resolve the problem.  I called Chardonas at 10AM and asked if they could send someone.  They said "Sure, but it wouldn't be until the afternoon."  I said "OK, no problem/"  I told them I had already purchased a new handle/lock.  Since they couldn't make money on a new handle/lock, they never bothered to show up or call.  I waited all day and finally called them but they had already closed.

I went to Chardonas to see if they could make a copy of a key that neither Lowes or Home Depot could. I explained to them that it was for a Zeiss lock and the problems i've had trying to get it duplicated. I figured going to an actual locksmith would be the solution. Not so. I was told they can't do it, which is fine. If you can't do something I appreciate the honesty but it was the tone that was used. It was as if i was putting them out by walking into their store with a question. I was told to just change the cylinder of the lock, to which i explained i don't want to change the cylinder because it's a brand new lock installed by my landlord. Basically they were no help at all and would rather chit chat with their buddies in the store then try to offer my a solution. Give me the name of someone who may be able to make a copy of this key for me, give me something. I'd rather break a window to get into my car or house that i was locked out of then ever attempt to give them my business.
