...DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE, E V E R !!.I've been the Founder & Director of Global Operations for "Chef David's Kidz Wishgrant Foundation Charity" for the last 26 straight years time, & we're open 24hrs a day, 7 days a wk.We're multi-award winning, & a National, legal, non-profit, non director paid , Tax-Exempt(sec) 501(c)(3) I.R.S. authorized Children's Wishgrant Charity in Oakland Park, Fla.. A terminally-ill 12yrs old BEAUTIFUL girl member w/ "S C E S " ("Severe Convulsive Epilepsy Syndrome w/ convulsive grand-mal seizures " )  from the N.E. great lakes region by the border of N.E. Illinois area and her family came down for a superwish we worked on for 3 years time. We'd called 3 wks prior and spoke with someone there named "Helen" who said they DO pro-bono charity work "all of the time, when do you want her to come in, etc..", and we said she had gorgeous 4 ft long brunette hair, had never had it professionally styled,  & arranged the day around October 16th, 2014.After call backs, we're told Helen isn't allowed to arrange this, etc., as she's an employee, SO, we call back, and AGAIN, Helen says "bring her in, don't worry, we already have the appt made..".(Wait, OH, it gets soooo much worse!). The day of the scheduled appt., we had JUST left the family after saying hello to them at their hotel, and decided to stop-by to confirm things and introduce ourselves about Noon of that day, w/ 3hrs to go before the appt. After I walk in and ask to speak with the owner or "Helen", this TERRIBLY hateful woman tells me "YOU're a LIAR , I'm the owner and Helen would never DO that or say such a thing, & we don't do charitable work, AT ALL ...", and would not let us try and pay her later for it, or anything else we tried someway to save the appt and huge surprise for the girl planned !Overall, she gave off the vibe of a completely un-professional ghoul, , she was horribly impolite and name-calling, (??) and said NO WAY, full cost....."! To then make matters WAY worse, the Mom of our family just got a new phone and was having reception problems, and didn't get the 6 texts and voice-mails we sent to her TO NOT GO IN BY ANY MEANS to this horrible female and her place, and even after I called and cancel'd the appt., when the Mother & girl arrive, this female does the same thing, being insulting and rude, and says "You're lucky, we'll fit her in , BUT IT'S STILL $60.00", knowing the daughter was gravely-ill and they were indigent-poor, and then, after the Mother panicked and tried to save the day & trip and used food money to pay, this "female" owner , she stayed right behind the salon chair the girl was seated in, complaining, berating the Mother and making  slurs & the girl feel terrible 100%. Lady, (meaning the "owner" of this dump), LOL, Karma has LONG reach, my friend, and I hope it reaches out to you in SPADES , same way you did to our Mother and daughter, you're a greedy, vile  bully , who let's just say we hope everything we hear about Karma is true, cuz YOU certainly have alot of "pay-back of negative energy" coming your way!!! How dare you, you over-pompous predatory fool, talking to this Mother and girl this way.Oh, & "Helen", PLEASE, don't ever call us, we definitely won't ever be calling you again, you let this Mother and girl walk into this "wide-open", and did nothing, you and your "owner" should be grossly ashamed !!! Rate this place........(LOL)...????? Are we allowed to give this place a "negative 8" ???? Greed driven, hate filled, utterly  negative and not community minded, like YOU couldn't have donated 1 cut and style for a terminally-ill 12yrs old girl that HELEN HAD AGREED TO , & w/ all the BLING you had on, (are you serious?)...???GEE, Selfish and greedy much, hmmmn..?? WAIT,  Let me think how we FEEL about this place.............??? Avoid this place like it has the Plague, because it does..............!!!! My kids go to get haircuts from Laura for 2 years now. SHE IS AMAZING! They always can get you in, are so attentive and welcoming, and my experience has been superior each and every time. Love them!

Very bad experience there!!! I WOULD NEVER EVER GO BACK EVEN IF IT WAS FREE. THEY MESSED MY HAIR UP VERY BADLY

I searched high and low for a CND Schellac manicure and FINALLY found someone in the Galt Ocean Mile that could do it. Not only did they have CND, but EVA was meticulous with her manicure. VERY happy customer!
