I called him because I was interested in getting a quote for a deck. He informed me that he charges for estimates. I'm sorry, but as a homeowner I need to diligently ask several contractors for quotes in order to ensure I get the most for my money and that I get the most qualified individual working on my house. This is no way to treat a customer - it is a marketing expense for your company. Don't even bother calling him unless you want to be subject to this insult.
