Estimate to reroof single story home and garage 2700sq ft is $9910.00+ from CJ Roofing. Way higher than everybody else.

Hi Alexis,

Thank you for the estimate and the time it took to generate. Unfortunately, I can not proceed with this service with CJ Roofing as your price is a full $2000+ more than I received from three (3) other companies. I have quotes for five competitors with your being $1600 higher than the next closest. If I had received a price that much lower from one (1) company I would question it, but with this many examples of where the cost should be, I only found question with your companies estimate. I question if your estimator went to the correct address or if he just didn’t take the necessary time required to generate an accurate estimate. 

FYI:
I compared,
1. Products and materials supplied to complete the project. = Same
2. Additional potential charges i,e. replacing wood components (per ft cost) due to damage or need. = CJ Roofing is much higher
3. Any additional services or materials included at no cost (100 liner foot wood replacement at no cost from 2 of 3 competitors) = CJ Roofing has no such offer, rather additional cost at a much higher rate for every item.
4. Insurance and license possessed by all potential vendors compared. = All

In addition, I have contacted references for two (2) of them and found glowing responses for each.

I am not sending this to berate or show disdain for you or CJ Roofing, rather to point out an obvious discrepancy in your estimators ability or process. I hope this will help CJ Roofing to become more competitive in the future.
