Dr. Sternberg has always been a compassionate Doctor, and I appreciate that this small practice is available to me in our little town. Very calming ambience, and I never have to sit in the waiting room and wait for my appointment. I highly recommend this practice.

By any means, call him "Doctor" at all times. He takes great offense if you forget.  I had a terrible experience with Dr. Sternberg. My experience with Dr. Sternberg has put me off seeing any psychiatrist ever again. This is a detestable place run by an antiquated, and catty man. He is late refilling scripts for days. Receptionist was terrible, you had to call 7 or 8 times to get a call back. He doesn't believe in prescribing ANY kind of narcotic, which includes sleeping aids like Ambien, or pills for panic attacks like Ativan or Xanax. And I am on disability for PTSD/Panic. I missed a payment because Medicare sent my check to the wrong address; he would not see me or refill my prescription until I paid my bill in full. So I had to go with out my medications for days one month. He wouldn't change my Anti-depressant even though it was making me feel worse, and sick. He is petty. I once complained about his receptionist not getting back to me, he got so angry, he asked me to come back another time; canceling our existing appointment. Besides all these things, he is so very rude. He is condescending, irrational, and very impatient. Do Not see this man!
