Not much to look at when you get there... BUT, give it a try. The staff are friendly, pleasant and eager to help you with what ever you need. The food is delicious, we started with Fried Pickles and Fried Sweet Potatoes, and main meal of Flounder and Grilled Salmon/Shrimp Dinners. Also they have beer and wine too. We loved it. Features: Do not require mask for staff or customers
Good seafood but menu needs to be updated - it states they have gator tail but both times my family and I went, they were "out" 2 weekends in a row. Everything is served in disposable dishes which I wasn't crazy about, especially given portion size the plates are very flimsy. Parking: Very limited parking. Get there as soon as they open or you'll be hunting for a spot and waiting for a table.
It was okay...we ordered the oyster stew the bowl was big but the price you pay and maybe they had 3 oysters in it..then the waitress came twice to take our order and bring our food. And she was alittle rude just throwing down on the table I was waiting for her to drop it or spill it... then we had to ask another waitress for more crackers and etc.. it's not like it use to be.
Worst restaurant I’ve ever had the misfortune of experiencing. The waitress threw the menus on the table and walked away. My wife and I ordered 2 beers which were delivered sans glass. Our flounder was watery and inedible. We asked for butter on baked potato but was served some kind of miracle spread. Our meal was served on a plastic plate with plastic. Cutlery.
Loved the fish sandwich, best around. Sweet potato fries very good. Parking: Get there early
Great food and excellent service...Big portions for such a low price as well... Soft shell Crab lover here and it was prepared well and came out hot and fresh...Liked the slaw as well, paired well with the crunchiness of the crab...Wonderful experience at this old school family restaurant.....
Cooked to order, server was great. Food was just food. Taste was bland, look was good, but the price was expensive for not tasting all that great. Would not ever go back. Deviled crab was just a thick breaded stuffing with bell peppers and onions, couldn't find crab meat at all inside of it. My grilled cajun grouper was greasy because they had it at the bottom of all of the fried food, i believe. The cajun seasoning on the grouper only tasted like Cayenne and nothing else. The hush puppies were mixed with onions and flour no cornmeal which was different not bad. The clam strips were fried in cornmeal which I asked if anything was breaded in corn, due to my allergy, and they said no the waiter did ask the cook. I couldn't eat them but they look like they were prepackaged frozen strip that they deep fried which is why they probably didn't realize. Green beens taste like they were from a can and they were mushy with no tecture at all. Will never go back
Didn't dine in, but just the service over the phone was very pleasant. The food was very very good and fresh. I mean EVERYTHING was good. The shrimp, the coleslaw...even the tartar sauce was on point. Would definitely eat there again.
We both ordered the inexpensive fried flounder and shrimp combo. They were perfect, lightly battered, not overly greasy and not overcooked. They came with two sides including really good fries or baked potato among other things. Service was pleasant. The dining area was casual with several comfortable booths. We'd certainly return when we next visit Tifton. Features: I don't think anyone was wearing masks at this time.
Even though the location was very busy, the service was fantastic and the food quick,hot and delicious.Food: 5/5
