I have been working for Charpentier Family Dentistry for a little over 2 years now and I would not have it any other way. From the amazing people that I call coworkers to our awesome atmosphere, it makes a day at work feel like a breeze! Come check us out if you want the best spa like experience, you know you want too!!

Amazingly perfect experience. I recommend Charpentier to everyone both in and out of New Iberia. I went in terrified. In tears. Scared of dentists as cats are of dogs and haven’t been in decades. I have anxiety issues and after weeks of research ended up in urgent care with a sudden toothache. After some painkillers from them I had a few days and had to make an appointment. Based on anxiety, feedback from others, and google, I chose Charpentier. They explain everything and are knowledgeable, and ready for all of the tech and science questions about what they do and why. Everybody is understanding, kind, and ready to make you comfortable both physically and mentally, and you know what’s happening every step of the way, so you’re not left wondering about price or pain or whatever. Am I still a little nervous about going to the dentist? Absolutely. But not the horrible fear that I had previously. I will be back, and back multiple times. If you have any issues or fear or whatever about dentistry, go here. You won’t regret it. The one thing that just stood out to me was they understood my anxiety and fear, instead of just dismissing it like so many others. That alone made it amazing.

I love this dentist, I just hate that they try to sell me on so many little things that make my bill expensive. They also do not have small x-ray shields so my mouth always has cuts after they x-ray me. I also have a tender mouth and the cleaning lady is super rough to prove her point that I bleed and need to floss more. Their floss is also super sharp. It is not the thread, it is like sharp plastic. I have been going here for almost as long as the dentist has been in town, but am shopping.

Know of any good dentists that do not "market" and have cleaning personnel that are sensitive?

I have been going to Charpentier Family Dentistry for 5+ years and never have had a bad experience with this group. I would recommend everyone to see these ladies, such a pleasure to go to a dentist office that everyone is so nice and their goal is t make you comfortable. Great Job Ladies!!!!!
