I've been here since the second grade and am now in my final year and I have to say, this school is bad. There's a lot of issues. Certain teachers are very rude and some can be very demeaning. The school lunch is bad. Another issue, when the season changes to fall and its colder, some students often don't want to go outside for recess due to the cold weather. However, they force everyone to do so. Many times, a few people in my class misbehaved or didn't do homework and the whole class ended up being punished. This school has an academic program that has to do with online courses on the i-ready program. These lessons are very repetitive and there are many that I've done in grades 6, 7, and now 8th. For Spanish class, students must use an online program called "Rosetta Stone". It is not very beneficial for learning Spanish though and after using it for about 3 school years, I still haven't learned much. Many other students have agreed to this statement. Unfortunately, most of the time, teachers go a extremely overboard with homework, which can take hours to do as well as punishments. The school recently added new, unnecessary rules. Students are not allowed to have nail polish due to it being "dangerous". They take they uniform so strictly. They tell us what color hair bands to wear and what color sneakers to wear.

I do not enjoy the fact that they changed principles without notification to parents. I also do not enjoy the school lunch they can do SO much better than this. Yes, the food was unhealthy back then but ad least student were eating now students are not eating and starving themselves its horrible. And the uniform is taken way too far. 3 warnings and a suspension. Thats ridiculous and it can affect what high school students go do. You can do better.

I have been in this school since kindergarten I'm now going to graduate 👨🏻‍🎓 I'm a senior now .This school is very Good I had a lot of fun experiences.The teachers be hard on you so that you bring the best of your self in your academics.The school lunch is bad due to the fact of the government provides it.The diversity I will rate it a B+ The teachers are very open that willing to help the kids.Mr.Lopez is very nice in fact he's so helpful he love teaching kids.Ms.Garica my science teacher who has a doctrine in science she is open hearted and open minded she loves kids she always willing to help and she movities kids who are going into highschool.She pushes kids harder in academic level because she wants us to shine.Mrs.lepore she's a good math teacher she helps out with math she is also sweet and kind. In conclusion ,I recommend you take your kids to this school the education is good comparing to the other public schools in Yonkers.The education is hard so that your academic level is nice.Mr.swingle is the littest teacher ever he's nice he's class is an easy Grade.Hes always willing to help he's funny and cool.

This school is excellent!! In the public school i was in before transferring to CSEE i was anti-social because I didnt really know alot of people and i didnt want to make friends, but ever since i came to CSEE i basically know everyone including my teacher's and administration.this school has made me become a better person and its my last year but i really hope by the time it comes to high school the charter high school is open and i am able to attend there!!
