This is for Beth who would not help me when Theresa, the previous bank manager, opened a credit card in for my son, who is permanently disabled and has $0 income (which would have shown up, had she completed the necessary LEGAL credit checks). I am his power of attorney, giving me the legal authority to make his financial decisions, and this would also have been readily available to her, had she completed her job and run the legally required checks.  Even with this information made CLEAR over multiple weeks of phone calls, emails, and in-person visits, Delaware Chase refused to close the account.  After calling corporate and speaking with a man described as "the decision maker for the region,"  He fixed the problem in a matter of an hour.  To this day, which its been a year and a half, niether Beth nor Theresa has done the BARE MINIMUM and just called me back.  I waited over a year to write this, but I've heard the same kinds of stories from multiple long time residents and it's sad.  We should be able to trust the people we allow to manage our money, we shouldnt be afraid they're going to prey on our disabled family/neighbors.
