I agree with previous reviewer about incompetent staff. I went two weeks ago to see if there were sufficient funds in one of their account holder's checking account to cash a $200 check. They said it would cost me $17 to cash the check there if I was not a Chase Bank customer. I told them no, but that I would then just go to my bank, Keybank , and cash the check there . I only wanted to know if there was enough money so that the check would not bounce and I would wind up with the extra fees. The teller told me there was enough funds and not to worry. I did not inquire how much money was in the account. I just wanted to make sure there as enough to cover this check. Fast forward to two weeks later and this time the teller told me they could not tell me anything and would not even cash another check for $17 fee. I asked to speak with the manager. Mr. Kirkland, the manager,(vice president) said that the person I spoke with two weeks ago was wrong and was rude and walked away. I asked for his name which he would not state. Instead, he gave me his business card. So much for competence. I noted a previous reviewer was" happy" after their third trip to a Chase Bank branch. Seems like there is a major training problem with this banking institution if a client has to go to three branches to get their problem solved.

My most recent banking experience had me going from branch to branch of Chase trying to have get them to perform a simple administrative task. This was the third location I visited that day and the final one since they were the one that were able to get it done. I had to wait no more than five minutes, and they had someone meet with me and took care of what I needed. After leaving 2 other Chase branches disappointed, I left this one happy.

Incompetence majorus. Manager couldn't remember her teller override password so I had to wait 40 minutes for her to figure out how to reset it.
