Reviews
The building is is old and not great; there is mold growing out of the walls and you can hear other classes. Overall is safe but could use improvements. Some of the teachers are good. My favourites are Mrs. Nakagaki who cares about everyone and Mr. Barger because he makes class fun. The administration is bad, if you have a problem they won't care for example empower and standards based grading. The teachers don't like it, Empower is unnecessary and the grading is bad and outright stupid. One of the big concerns about empower is how you cannot get a B on a test which is very difficult for "B students" because they either get a C (Basic) or a A- (meets). Another concern is how a meets is an A-. Many students and teachers agree that because you are "meeting the standards" you should be able to get a meets. The last concern is how Extends is an A (100%). Because meets is the target goal it should be an A and an Extends should be extra credit given to students who want to go for the extra credit and that way students with a meets get their A and B students can get their B with a Basic.
