HORRIBLE We have been coming here for more that 6 years and always have had a great time . NOW that the hotel has changed into a corporate entity the service is horrible, Rude front desk girl who actually argued with me in front of customers. Requested on property room and had to walk a block to their off sight property with dirty bathrooms and mold on the ceilings. Was lied to 4 times about the room and was basically told that reservations only got you a spot and no promise as to the room (even if they promised a second floor balcony street side) .We told them in no uncertain terms that we wanted to be on the property and not off as we use the pool and didn't want to walk a block to the pool ... we wanted to leave and told them well in advance ... even after telling them 30 hours before they kept the 350.00 Saturday night saying it was their policy, When I went to the front desk late the night before the night mgr said that the last day would be removed from the bill because we gave them enough time ..... The next morning he was nowhere to be found and they wouldn't call him or help in any way ... also new to 2017 a 150.00 key fee wow parking goes up with out notice too ... Please do yourself a favor and pass this one bye .. it used to be a little gem in the quarter now .... its a rip off

We had a one night stay here and had a great time. We loved the property. The hotel has a private pool in a hidden Oasis on site and you really can't beat having that in NOLA. Our bellman was awesome. Came out to our car for the bags, helped us find parking and brought the bags to the room. The room itself was on the first floor. It was the cheapest room available. I could see this room being very noisy as you can hear the streets perfectly. Fortunately for us the streets were quiet after about 1am when we got back. The room didn't have soap and we had to ask the front desk, but everything else went fairly smooth. It was a picturesque hotel but you get what you pay for. Our cheap room was iffy but I'm sure the more expensive rooms are top notch.

Friendly staff and very helpful. The rooms are clean and even though the Chateau is a historical building the amenities exceed expectations. Clean well kept pool and a price to stay that is easy on the pocket. Also they include private parking lot that's monitored and locked after 11pm. They have my vote and when we return for another New Orleans adventure well book with the Chateau Hotel.

Kind, punctual service. Nice breakfast and pool area. Cozy cool rooms. Decent size and cost for the French quarter.
