This was my first time and when I left, I could not stop talking about this place. ABSOLUTELY delish!! The atmosphere is beautiful, I went with a friend but it can definitely make for a nice date night! I had a variety of fish and shrimp tacos, chips with guacamole, and a really strong margarita! Can't wait to go again once I'm back in NY!!
My family and I had such a wonderful experience when we all stopped by for some delicious tacos! It was the best New York taco I’ve ever had! And I just moved here from Houston TX so I know my tacos! The waiter literally made our day. He wasn’t rushed and made us just feel really taken care of which is something we all needed to feel as a family as all of our family who would normally be helping right now is back in Texas. My husband Ken just finished his last chemotherapy treatment two days ago, and he has been in unimaginable pain on and off for months. I’d have to say the atmosphere, the food and most importantly, the service made him feel so loved. We will be back!
5/5 for the mole and the homemade conchas. As for the atmosphere, it’s colorful and lively, the staff is happy to be there and they demonstrate it with their warmth and friendliness. Now the food was not Mexico City standards, but it was probably the best Mexican food anywhere on this side of Brooklyn. I highly recommend the chicken mole which has a velvety chocolate and nutty taste.
Excellent food and atmosphere. Really high quality Mexican food with great staff. The guacamole is served in a traditional lava bowl with house made tortilla ‘chips’ and the tacos are next level. Neighborhood gem. Highly recommended. Vegetarian options: There are vegan and vegetarian options clearly labeled on the menu.
Our new favorite Mexican place in the city. Went for brunch on Sunday and it was all perfect. Delicious authentic food. Pleasant environment and super nice, efficient service. We will be back.Food: 5/5
A tad bit busy on a weekend night so we sat outside under the heat lamp. It was warm and toasted and the food came relatively quickly. Portions were good and service was friendly. Guac and chips was ok, I only little bits of appetizers, and the empanadas was niceeeeely done. Shrimp was good for me too. My boyfriend got the platter assemble your own tacos, and the tortillas was nice and homemade.
Been here multiple times, brunch and dinner. The atmosphere is always banging and yet the wait is almost never an issue - non-existent most times. I honestly don't understand how this place works, it is so well managed. Staff are 100%, vibes are 100%, food is always great. 5*, one of Crown Heights' best spots, without a doubt.
The waiters are very friendly and the food is delicious. The price is reasonable. Dishes were served very fast too after ordering. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
A neighborhood favorite. It's usually crowded on the weekends. I lucked out this past weekend. I arrived right before the end of brunch and there were plenty of seats!! Waitress was kind. I ordered the French toast and opted for a side of eggs. The surprise with this French toast is that it was topped with sweet fried plantains with berries. So good. My friend had the same. If you are into Mexican, try this place bc it's extremely popular. No resy. Walk in only
The outside was bright and welcoming with sitting outside. It was quiet inside, I was there before 12pm. Inside was decorated with beautiful glass butterflies . The staff was fabulous, especially my sever Jorge. I ordered the chicken taco. The services was fast eventhough I only ordered 1 Taco. It was one of the fresh and delicious taco I have eaten. I was pressed for time and could not enjoy the atmosphere but will be going back. I definitely recommend this place for a quick bite or a full course meal. Enjoy..
