At first glance, the old lady was against this place. But once we got in and settled, we were taken by the staff. Julie at the front desk was a delight to talk to on the phone and very helpful and friendly. Simon at the bar was beyond exceptional and gave us so much info on Halifax, where to park downtown, and most importantly where the best Donair in town was. The room was clean and straightforward, but the staff really made the experience

Great breakfasts, consistently good, fast, and cheap. Never had a bad experience here. Kudos!

This is an awesome place, the staff could not have been any friendlier and the rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. They could use some better pillows but we're sufficient. The restaurant that is attached is a great place to eat and VERY reasonably priced. It was so enjoyable we de idea to stay an extra night.

Old fashioned motel is clean if underwhelming. Rooms are updated although bathrooms are a little tired. Everything you need is here and comfortable bed. Gratefully quiet for sleeping.
