We can provide our guests with the additional safety of an enclosed kitchen and limited personal contact – whether you choose to drive up, order ahead online, or have our food delivered. In response to concerns around the Coronavirus we have closed the few dining rooms that exist in the Checkers & Rally’s system and are limiting the number of people on our patio and at our walk-up windows. Cashier 1 DS231 on 10/26/2024 at 1:21 PM provided exceptional service. He was able to assist with obtaining the proper burger according to my preferences demonstrating knowledge in his work. In addition, he was kind and ethical throughout the process. Interesting was how he was aware of the business background and differences between corporate and franchise locations when I mentioned I was from Florida. Thank you for a positive experience and great burger!

Great for a quick bite. My family loves their fries. I've never been to any location other than this one and they are always friendly and helpful.  Parking: The parking lot is right next to a small private airport.

The worst service I have ever experienced. From the manager down to the employees. They all will ignore you and won't come to the window if you go inside to order. Unnacceptable. Will never return to this checkers.

It's nice to sit outside and enjoy a decent fast food meal. For a take out place it was good. The key to a good take out order is the accuracy of the person taking the order and for me, pretty good. The outdoor seating was a nice touch. Huge menu and the seasoning on the fries was really good. Enough flavor with a bit of pepper. I wouldn't go out of my way but I would stop by

I’m noticing that a few of the complaints on here is regarding the red hair lady with the bun, how disgusting her attitude is.  What is being done about this ??? She is still working & completely rude, terrible for business. She doesn’t greet you when ordering, lacks customer service and has a nasty disposition. I was at the drive thru window waiting for my food. Somebody was picking up for delivery but went through the regular drive thru instead. She is in the back yelling “ IDC if they are stuck in the middle of the line they’re going back around “. Idk if she’s a manager but that is totally unacceptable. This is the second time I’ve witnessed her behavior & this needs to be escalated. Ever since this Checkers changed management, the customer service has gone downhill.

Whenever I get a chance to visit the Linden area I always make a point to stop and enjoy a nostalgic checker burger, best fries in the world and a cold Coke. The staff is polite and fast. I’m always in and out in less than 10min.Food: 5/5

Great food,  just need to adjust the syrup dossier for the coca cola,  it was "spicy" soda,  not sweet or flavorful.  Other than that,  highly recommend!Food: 5/5

If I could give this zero stars I would. After a long practice I came to this checkers only to be met with a attitude from the middle-aged light-skinned womanwith a afro presumably of latino descent about whether the chilli cheese fries were vegetarian. After this she recommended the fully loaded fries which according to her had no meat, but when I came to look at the menu it clearly said it had bacon in it. After this I just ordered the regular fries, and went to the car to eat them. Only to see that one the fries was extremely hard and almost broke my tooth  I had a toothache for a few hours after. The restaurant itself was also extremely run-down. I would never recommend this to somebody when a sonic and McDonald's is within a ten-minute drive.

Hands down, THE BEST fast food fries ever. They're called "seasoned" fries, but don't let that scare you off. They aren't spicy at all.  Burgers are awesome, the chili dog is to die for. Ages ago, they used to have apple nuggets imagine little, bite-sized fried apple pies, but they've since been replaced by cinnamon apple pie, which is good, but certainly not as awesome as the apple nuggets were.  There's always parking here, but you're never really going to use it since the only seating is outdoors there is no indoor dining room and the tables and chairs aren't all that comfortable.  Since their primary focus is drive thru, they have twin drive-thrus, which means there's almost never a wait. Service is fast and professional.  The one thing I dislike is that if you pay by credit card, there seems to be only one machine in the store and it's not by the drive thrus, so the person has to disappear for a while with your credit card. I've never had a problem with that, but my own paranoia about credit card safety kicks in whenever my credit card is out of sight.  I'm shocked that this chain is not bigger in this area. Even more shocked that the only other Checkers within a reasonable driving distance Union, NJ closed down about 2 years ago, making this Linden location the only place within about 30 minutes to experience what I consider to be the best fast food.
