I love Cheddar’s. But I’m warning you, don’t come here when it’s busy! There food quality and the friendliness of the staff goes down. My brother and I came here one day in the middle of the day for lunch and it was fantastic and the staff was great and we just went again last night with my husband and our waitress looked like she would rather be anywhere else but here. Not one smile the entire dinner. I order the 6oz sirloin and asked for medium rare and it was so rare that it was still cold in the middle and I couldn’t eat it. All I ate were the mashed potatoes and green beans which were good. (I don’t like sending food back) and my brother had the chicken tender platter that was SMOTHERED AND COVERED in buffalo sauce and he threw it all up two hours after dinner. My husband had the sweet heat shrimp and chicken and he liked it but he’s had diarrhea all night and all day. Like I said the food is always good when it’s not busy so that’s when I recommend going.

The food was delicious and the portions enough. At 5pm the place was packed with early birds by 6pm there was a wait of 30 min. The only thing I did not like was the drinks. Sorry bartender don't quite your day job. I would definitely come back.

Alright so, I usually try my best not to leave sub par reviews. Especially when the food is typically good. This is more of a reflection of the staff. We come here a lot. At least 3-4 times a month at times. Mostly again because the food is yummy and the price is nice. However, pretty much every time we come I find the hostesses are rude or have attitudes. It’s constant. They are the first people you see coming in and you can just see it on their faces as well as hear it in their voices. We’ve been lied to about the restaurant closing by them as well before. We checked the closing time one night, and we had a full hour and a half. We were told at the door they were closed and the times we looked up were wrong on google. The service is typically just ok. Again, I try my best to give benefit of the doubt etc to servers being one myself and having worked in the restaurant industry for over 13 years many time they just seem under trained. We will get different stories on how something is made or what comes with what depending on the server (like croissants with the salad) they’ve always come with the salads yet some servers aren’t aware of that. It’s just sloppy.

Service was not great but acceptable. Food was pretty good and price are within reason. Reason for one star is for the roach on the bar and how the bartender AND manager handled it. I was at the bar getting change for a $20 when a roach came walking along. I told the bartender and she saw it and just took a napkin and squashed it. She did not clean the area after. Then I told a manager about the situation and he didn't seem to care and okayed me and said he would talk to the exterminator. No one bothered to get anyone to clean the area where a roach was walking and squashed! THIS IS WHERE PEOPLE EAT AND DRINK! Because of this, I will never return. When there's one roach, there's usually many many more.

Mommy and son date...we love their food and service is great! Don't ever NOT have a margarita while there. Whether frozen or on the rocks...simply delicious and gets the job done.
