I recently visited Chef'em Mariscos, a food truck restaurant that specializes in fish tacos, nachos, and burritos. I ordered the fish tacos and was blown away by the perfectly cooked fish and the array of fresh toppings. The salsa was zesty and flavorful, and the cilantro added a nice touch. I also tried the nachos, which were crispy and loaded with cheese and beans. The homemade salsa on top was delicious and added a nice kick. The burrito was also a standout - filled with juicy meat, beans, and bursting with flavor.  Service: The staff at Chef'em Mariscos were friendly and welcoming. They were happy to answer any questions I had about the menu and made great recommendations. My food was ready quickly and was served with a smile.  Conclusion: Overall, I highly recommend Chef'em Mariscos to anyone looking for delicious Mexican cuisine. The food is gluten-free, and the quality and taste is outstanding. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is welcoming and fun. I would give this food truck 5 stars and can't wait to go back for more.

Waited over 60 minutes to get a side of normal, basic fries.  When I ordered they did not mention the wait would be over an hour.  Rather than prioritize ease & speed over, they only did a first in first out system.  I had to wait for an order of 30 tacos before my fries when all they literally had to do was take the fries from the frier basket and put into a bowl.  No meat, no sauce, no toppings.  Just basic fries in a bowl.  Finally had to get a refund because my entire group already left after drinking a few beers.  Someone drove to Taco Bell and back quicker than ordering here.  Food MIGHT be decent but good luck getting any.

So good!!! It can take awhile if they are busy but quality is always top notch, always has new things on the menu.  Shrimp fries are probably our favorite.  Duck foot + Mariscos is brilliant.

Tried this food truck when visiting Duck Foot Brewing on Friday. Fish tacos - not good, weirdly they chose arugula for the veg and the fish didn't taste fresh had that heavy frozen taste. The breading and tortillas were also subpar. The 8 lemon pepper wings were much better and the redeeming factor in this meal - very salty but flavorful and full of crunch. tldr; Overpriced and quite slooooow, considering we were the only customer. The guy working was kind, but I'd pass on this vendor in the future.

Wow!  Amazing fish and shrimp tacos. Fish and shrimp were fried in the spot. Cabbage and pico looked and tasted fresh. Very well priced and amazing tacos. The fries were also fresh and light were not burnt or soggy.. A must try in San Diego.

Chef Emre has an excellent attitude and cares very much about your experience with his food.  I had the opportunity to try tacos from chef em mariscos truck and honestly they where very yummy. My family and friends loved all the tacos but the Fish, surf & turf and Gobernador tacos stood out a little extra and they where so delicious !!!! I highly recommend. Everything was made to order with fresh ingredients. All of the sauces are made fresh in house and the tortillas are made by a local tortilleria.  Great little gem.!!

Customer service is top chart. They are on point when it comes to exceptional service for their customers.  My favorite items are the shrimp cocktail best one I've ever had, if you love lemon, you'll love this cocktail, the shrimp fries and the aguachile.  Keep up the great work!

Best food I've had in San Diego yet. Had a fish taco and i had the ceviche tostada. Both were delicious but the fish taco was amazing. Already planning on coming back tomorrow for more fish tacos.  P.s. there habanero and green salsa are the best.

The fish and shrimp tacos are extremely fresh! Taking it to go? Just ask to have the tacos deconstructed. Feeling fancy? Get the ceviche to pair with your tacos!
