The best Sweet/Sour chicken we have ever had. Really. Other greats:: MuShu veggie or chicken although they never have the pancakes. Chicken & broc, great brown sauce. All the tofu dishes!!
Wow!! Gem of a spot, food is fresh. Ordered steamed Chinese veggies with shrimp and chicken steamed…nice and fresh. Veggies were even crispy! Wonton soup delish!! Great taste! Our new spot!
I can tell they probably cook other things well. But that was the worst chicken chow mein I've ever had. It was so unbearably salty. I could not finish. But I was starving and I had no time to change it. Their vegetable quality was great and more authentic then other places. Their chicken quality was way better than most Chinese food stores. They're crunchy noodles we're really good and homemade. I could tell by the quality of their gredients that they probably cook very well usually. But this meal was utterly disgusting, I'm sorry. It was $3-4 more expensive compared to other places, but they do give big serving sizes and the quality of their ingredients probably warrants the price. I may try again.. If the food is great, I will reconsider my rating... But for now.... Ugh
The food was not fresh, chicken had to fried at least four times because it was so dry and smelled liked they seasoned it with cinnamon. My children asked me not to order from them anymore and they’re 14 and 9. I ordered right before closing so I don’t know if that played a part in the quality
Every time I go there she remembers me and it would be years between and always brings up my father and I absolutely love that I absolutely love the food here! Tastes better than the Chinese in upstate New York
Best part: no MSG so you’re not left feeling so tired after a great meal. The price is unbeatable! I ordered orange chicken and I love that it’s saucy with real chicken! The rice isn’t dry like other places but it’s fresh and the egg roll is largest in its class. The woman I spoke to was so kind and I would definitely recommend this place above all in the area!
The first time I picked up food for the kids, no complaint. The second time, We weren't sure if the shrimp was real. No really, something was off. So, i just told the kids to throw it away. The shrimp had no texture, and a shine to it. Staff are nice, and store front is clean, and food was prepared quickly, no waiting for longer than 10 mins..
The BEST egg roll I've ever had in my entire LIFE. It's egg roll perfection. Order them they are insanely good!
The best Chinese food in NJ hands down. Cheng's has been my go to spot for over a decade and the quality has been excellent the entire time. Small family run business that remembers regular customers, and has really fair prices for big portions.
