Just visited this YMCA. They have one woman who seems to be the only one there with exception of a male custodian cleaning the bathroom area while I was changing. Never even announced himself. No towels offered had to ask for a lock for the locker. Steam room you have to turn on yourself and wait for it to get warm. Very dim lights in the gym and the hot tub is set to 100°. Ridiculous very unprofessional and uninformative. If this were my regular YMCA I would not be a member.

Very clean and great staff. They even put your birthday on sign out front! Very family friendly

I wanted to get a membership with the Gaffney SC YMCA to continue working out. Memberships are 45$ which is outrageous but I'm Military and they don't even offer a discount unless I was to deploy soon which would be a waste of my time even if I was to deploy. So I spoke with Duncan and Spartanburg YMCA and they offered me a free membership yes it cost extra gas money but it is well worth it because they respect military service members which I applaud for. I will never recommend anyone to Gaffney YMCA.

Great gym and nice weight room. Would be 5 stars but there's not really anything for a child under 15 to do. Also you can forget usuing the basketball court on Sunday. They're always about 5 or 6 kids with no respect running a full court game. Doesn't matter if I'm running drills with my kids they will come straight thru and bust it up. Needs to be policed better (unless it's changed haven't been back on a Sunday for this reason in a few months) and Saturdays during January and February can't use the basketball court because of youth basketball league. But the weight room is still open. If you want to use a pool you have to use the one that's at limestone college on certain days which is about a 10 min drive away.

They are awesome with kids. The sports are fair and inexpensive. And they let everyone play in the games.
