My kids are in this school district and we have found it to be supportive of both academics and athletics. There is no more drama among students than at any other local high school. Their administration is new but solid and the level of experience is impressive. Problems are addressed promptly and they are willing to address any parent concerns. We have a record number of open enrollment applications so apparently other families outside of our district want to attend too. I find it is unfair to judge another school district if I have not had actual involvement in that district to justify a claim.

My son who will call anonymous has come from many Avenue we have lived in the hood, he comes from a broken home, he is a dd, we are on a financially fixed income and I love Chesapeake high school because of all those things none have been held against them no one has made fun of him he has been welcomed with open arms and I'm one proud momma to say go Panthers go into the crazy parents who wrote all those awful things about Chesapeake high school maybe the drama button right there at the table with you eat your food

I believe that this school is very horrible. Too much drama goes on in that school (as told by my daughters and friends who also have kids going to Chesapeake). Weed smokers, horrible principal, and does not actually teach education. Pick a better school.
