I LOVE this restaurant. It is a historic house that has been converted to a restaurant. It is owned and operated by a husband and wife team that are friendly and fun. Their staff are as friendly and efficient as their employers. I am a regular at the Chess Club and will be as long as I am above ground.

Delicious food, healthy portions.  You will not leave hungry.  Great place to stop if you are in Blanco, Texas.  Not a bad item on the menu!  You will not be disappointed.  Better arrive early for lunch.  This place gets packed  quick!  Well worth the wait though.  You will not be disappointed with the food.

Cute place. Wait staff great. Food is outstanding. I had the pork loin. It was great, pork cooked just right, real mash potatoes & fresh green beans. Fresh dinner roll. Home made gravy!! 
This is a Must Stop and eat!!

Absolute wonderful service and food was so good! You can tell everything is made from scratch! Cute little setting. Feels like home.

Great food.  Great prices.  Food plated like a $$$$$restaurant.  Asian beef salad is delicious.  They do it right here :)
