I wanted to leave this review as a token of my gratitude to the employees, manager and owner of this CHEVRON LEE VINING for being so Kind! Even though I was there at 11:30 after they had closed my Better half and I had been driving for hours in need of gas a place to stretch our legs and restrooms! I read a couple reviews on this place as we regained signal coming down the mountain before we slowed to make a pit stop here! A couple reviews had claimed the pumps are on after close and the bathrooms are clean heated and unlocked after hours!!!!!!! All these things are absolutely true!!!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!!!!! To the manager owner and employees for these truths ! We desperately needed gas bathrooms and a moment to stretch and regain our sanity lol. The bathrooms are clean heated and smell really good and clean! I was extremely pleased with this location me the honorably kind trust of the employees the managment and owners! (((as for the shell station warning!!!!!! (((it's two pumps under a street light nothing around it.)))

Our RV ran out of gas and the manager drive down the road to bring us gas, we were in a slope so he needed to go back and fourth to help get the gas to take. He was really fast had a great attitude and really nice. The station is clean and bright. Never checked the bathroom. They told us that bodies Mike's was open and had great food. We laughed a bit and have them some beers before we left. Was a scary experience went great. Thank you for being so wonderful.. we will stop here every time. Ryan Heidi Peter and Casey

Everybody gives a bad review to this place but I score them a 5 because they have their restrooms unlocked and HEATED all night long. I drove through and it was 10° by lake Mono, to find a bathroom open AND heated at 1:15 am is pretty generous of the management.

I'm putting this review here for a few reasons. 1. We got here after close and the pumps were still on which saved us big time.we would have been out of gas on mountain roads in the middle of the night 3000 miles from home. 2. Someone said there is a Shell that's cheaper literally across the street. That person was clearly at a different station. There appears to be some kind of truck station maybe, not another gas station. So...That's a lie. 3. Another review said it was falling down. I obviously didn't go inside, but it's not falling down. it looks like your run of the mill Chevron. So... Either some stuff has changed or they weren't really here... Or I'm not really here. Who knows at this altitude. I don't see how anyone has oxygen going to their brains. Then again, it cost me $110 to fill up. it's expensive because it's the only station around and it's 6000 feet up.

Ripoff. Bought gas here 6/16/16 as it was the first gas station at the entrance to town and I often buy Chevron gas at home. Then I drove through town. The other stations were all $.30/gal cheaper than this place (today, they are all $.40 cheaper). Not happy about being taken advantage of, even if it's just a few bucks. You should avoid them. I will.
